El Port Bar Restaurante — Restaurant in Barcelona

I am not really a review guy but this time i feel it's unfair for el port not to leave a review. For 4 days i wasted my money on fancy restaurants and bad food, i should have come to El Port Bar from the very first day in Barcelona. The food is fresh, delicious, well prepared and cheap. Me and my GF we had 2 calamari Andalusia, bravas and drink, we paid 24 euros only... And it was delicious, sitting outside in the sun and having the food, the service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, this place was a big disappointment. The pasta carbonara was made with random bacon that wasn't crispy at all. The burgers and fries were dry. The only thing that was decent was the vegetable noodles and wok, which were basically the same thing with a few different ingredients. Still, it wasn't great, just eatable. At the end the server charged us 9€ for vodka and water and told me that he gave us a triple shot of vodka because that's how he does it. We never asked for a...

Went there for my first time, the price is super fair, the quality was in some way surprisingly really good and i didn't expect that given that it is pretty cheap and the quantity was enough too !

I wanna thanks the waitress for her professionnalism and superb kindness, and also the cooker who was kind and patient for anything.
