The restaurant doesnt know this but Ive actually been here more than 5 times already and brought my colleagues here as well. Whether I dine alone or with a companion, theyve always been hospitable. I always get the cochinillo 🥰 especially with the amazing crispy skin. Ive been coming here since 2019 maybe twice a year except in 2021 because of covid. I wrote this 5 star review because they exceeded my expectations. I always ordered the cochinillo without RICE because I thought it didnt exist (it wasnt on the menu) and I had a waiter, I dont know his name but he was bald with a styled moustache. I showed a picture of steamed rice and asked him, ARROZ? And he said it was available. As an someone who deeply misses home who have our own version of cochinillo called "Lechon" (adult pig) vs cochinillo (suckling pig). I was so happy finding such a side dish in Europe. (I travel frequently in Europe and its difficult to find regular, white, plain steamed rice in traditional european restaurants, you only find rice in Asian restaurants.) Please try the cochinillo, they should give you the "juice sauce" to add extra flavor. If you pair it with rice, please ask for the salt shaker as it may seem a bit bland especially for Asian tastes, but once you do it tastes incredible 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ otherwise for european tastes it is good (and not that salty) then maybe pair it with some coke or dessert to cleanse your palate.

We came to this restaunt on Sept 2022. The taste was great on 2022. However, the quality, freshness and taste was decreased dramatically and the food was not fresh especially the roasted suckling pig and the grilled beef. The meats are not fresh. We were there and were surprised that just 3-4 tables including us. It seems that the bad economy has hugely this restaurant business. The only food’s quality that doesn’t change is the black pudding (blood sausage ). The suckling pig (cochinillo) was very expensive. Half of the suckling pig costed euro 140. Another restaurant is just euro 90. Whole pig another restaurant just euro 180 max. We were NOT HAPPY with the food quality, taste and the price . Euro 287/ 6 ppl = euro 48/pp. We wont recommended and won’t come back.

I ordered the suckling pig for dinner. It was okay, crispy and juicy but the sauce was kind of bland and a bit watery. I also ordered the calamari and was a little disappointed because it was chewy and bland in taste, same with caramel pudding. Pretty pricey. I ordered a mineral water as my stomach can’t tolerate tap water. I got a normal tap water and was charged 2.20 euros for it! Place was a little warm too, especially on a 35 degrees heat. Not even a fan in sight. There was an older waiter who was a little dismissive. I don’t know if it’s because he was scared of the language but the moment I arrived, he didn’t even smile or give a glimpse at me. When I asked I want to order, he just simply dismissed me and said someone will arrive to help me without even stopping to talk to me while he was very friendly to the people on the next table. 3...
