5, 5, 5!!!! Even though I’ve been in Bloome before, I just visit their new restaurant at Sant Joan and tried their totally renovated menu and WOW!!! What an experience! I tried the Autumn Vegan toast and it was a magical mix of flavors and colors! The size and taste was worth the price. LOVE that they only used real food and didnt use stuff made by humans, like false vegan meat or cheese.
I am lactose and gluten intolerance and this place it’s one of a kind. The flavors taste real and yummy and you can tell a really good chef is behind the recipes. The bread doesn’t taste like typical weird texture and flavor gluten free bread, you can’t tell it’s gluten free and the best part is that it’s homemade :)
The vegan chocolate chip cookie is amazing too, again you can’t tell it’s gluten free!
I also tried the coffee and a chai latte and good too, their mugs and presentation it’s beautiful.
Love the atmosphere, the style, the vibe. If you go in week days you can work and stay with your computer, as a freelancer I REALLY APPRECIATE this (please, if you do it, don’t just order a coffee and stay there for hours, don’t be rude and consume!)
Thanks! I will definitely go back to try some more dishes!
PS: it’s pet...
Read moreThis spot has a really cool breakfast menu, with lots of interesting options — including gluten-free choices and gluten-free bread, which I really appreciate. The variety is great, and the food combinations are creative and quite tasty. They also offer a wide selection of drinks, which is a nice bonus.
Now, the downsides. The service is generally quick and efficient, but there are a few things that really take away from the experience. First of all, there are often small flies (like gnats) flying around, which doesn’t feel very clean. Also, it seems like there’s a dog that lives there — maybe it belongs to the owner? Either way, it’s not super hygienic to have a dog around the kitchen and dining area.
But the biggest issue for me is the noise. It gets really loud. My Apple Watch has measured up to 85–90 dB while I was having breakfast there. That’s not just loud — it’s overwhelming. It makes it almost impossible to have a conversation or enjoy a calm morning. You just want to eat and leave as fast as possible, which is a shame because the food is actually really good.
So, great menu, tasty food, but I really hope they do something about the noise and...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this place. I ordered the salmon toast, which comes on charcoal bread with raisins — an odd choice for a savory dish, in my opinion. I politely asked if the bread could be swapped for plain white bread, which they clearly had for other items on the menu.
The first waitress came back and said it wasn’t possible. I asked why, because it made no sense — it’s just bread. Then a second waitress came over and told me again that they wouldn't change the bread, but they could change the toppings. When I questioned how changing toppings was allowed but not the bread, I was told it was because they “follow a recipe.”
At that point, I asked if they would still refuse to make the change if someone had an allergy, and the answer was still no. That’s completely unacceptable. It shows zero flexibility and even less regard for the customer’s needs.
Food might be decent, but the staff's attitude and unwillingness to make the smallest accommodation — especially one as simple as switching out bread — ruined the experience for me. Honestly, I...
