Review of the restaurant "Mimos" in the center of Spain
I recently visited the restaurant "Mimos" in the center of Spain, and I simply cannot help but share my admiration for this place. It is the perfect venue to enjoy the atmosphere of Spain, delicious food, and excellent service.
Let me start with the drinks. The sangria I ordered at "Mimos" was simply divine. It was refreshing, fruity, with hints of citrus—a perfect choice for a hot Spanish evening. Undoubtedly, the best sangria I have ever tasted.
Next, I tried the seafood paella. It was a true gastronomic delight! The rice was cooked to perfection, and the seafood added exquisite flavors and aromas. The portion was generous, and I savored every spoonful of this dish.
Moving on, I decided to try the beef with peppers and roasted potatoes. It was a masterpiece! The beef was cooked to the perfect degree of tenderness, juicy, and flavorful, while the peppers paired beautifully with the meat. The roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This dish simply melted in my mouth.
Next on my list was the salmon with pumpkin puree. It was delightful! The salmon was fresh and tender, with a crispy exterior. The pumpkin puree was a divine combination of sweetness and smoothness, perfectly complementing the flavor of the fish. This dish was exceptional and unforgettable.
And, of course, I couldn't pass up the tapas. Tacos, ham, patatas bravas, and bruschetta—everything was prepared to perfection, infused with authentic Spanish flavors. Each dish was unique and complemented the others perfectly.
The service at "Mimos" was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ready to assist at any moment. They created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere in which I felt right at home.
In conclusion, the restaurant "Mimos" is a place I highly recommend to anyone who wants to indulge in exquisite Spanish cuisine and a wonderful atmosphere. Here, you will find dishes of the highest quality, excellent service, and an unforgettable experience. I look forward to my next visit to this...
Read moreI highly discourage everyone from ordering paella when eating at this restaurant. I was in a group of 10 people, we all ordered paella and everyone left very disappointed about the food they served; the rice was so overcooked that it stuck to the pan and the fish was poorly cooked to the point when we tasted some pieces of this so-called "fish", everyone agreed that it resembled the taste of meat and mushrooms: obviously, when asked about it, the staff replied immediately (without even asking the cook first, implicitly meaning, in my opinion, that we weren't the first ones with this issue) that it was their way of cooking "fish", so i'll let the viewers draw their own conclusions. The wine we ordered was decent but really overpriced for such quality (i assume it would cost them around €5 so it wasn't worth the €21 we spent). On top of that they don't have a house wine, so if you plan to drink something, even not that good, be prepared to add at least €20 to your bill. The table they gave us was sticky and not very clean, but it wasn't much of a bother to us. The staff speaks a very good english, so cheers to them; unfortunately, they are totally unprepared and are not able to give you the minimal advice about wine or food, besides "order what you like" of course. The bill was average, but, for the quality of the food we ate, we should have...
