Hanai Vegana BORN - Gluten Free & Vegan Bakery — Restaurant in Barcelona

I wish I could give this 1,000 stars The donuts here are absolutely unreal, they are one of the best things I've ever eaten. I am in Barcelona for 5 weeks and so far have gone every week. I would pay so much to get the recipe!!!

I am gluten and dairy intolerant and in the UK cake options in cafés/bakeries/restaurants are very limited. Pre-allergies donuts were my absolute favourite thing, I haven't eaten one for maybe 10 years. Hanai Vegana has been heaven on earth for me. I will miss it a lot when I go home.

I've tried almost everything else too and it's all phenomenal and reasonably priced! 500/10 recommend, I don't know what magic they use to create these delicious foods.

Was visiting Barcelona in September this year, and whilst walking in town, I stumbled across Hanai bakery. I was so shocked to see all GF and vegan pastries that I honestly nearly cried. I came back there twice in one day. I wished they were open more so I could get my breakfast there everyday and grab some stuff for travelling back home. Everything I tried there was incredible, especially the ‘chicken’ savoury pastry and the massive donut. I think it was the happiest my partner has ever seen me haha. We recently visited this location and were super impressed by the customer service and the fact that all products are vegan as well as gluten-free. Without question, the bakery items at Hanai are truly exceptional. I'm not vegan, and yet, these are the best and freshest gluten-free bakery items I've tasted. They actually had a perfect glazed doughnut, cinnamon roll and apple/walnut tart, which are incredible accomplishments in and of themselves. The "snickers bars" are also crazy delicious.
