Excellent bar. The bartender David was supremely knowledgeable, helpful in curating drinks to our taste, and a great conversationalist. Absolutely terrific experience. It was quite a slow night when I arrived, which is to my preference, but I know some customers might push down the “atmosphere” meter a point for an empty bar. We happened across this bar at 01:00 at night one evening and had a wonderful experience. This bar seems to cater to an older crowd as we passed many party goers on the street but inside was quiet with soft music and a few couples. I just love it. It's an old school cocktail bar that's been open for over 90 years and much is vintage and/or original inside. Cocktails have absolutely always been well made and the bartenders know their craft perfectly.
