BAD SERVICE, STAFF LOUD ARGUMENTS. We went there(group of 4) on a weeknight, most of the tables available, the lady in a very UNWELCOMING way made us wait for 20 min to be seated(the tables weren't reserved, we were there for a LOOONG TIME, most of the tables remained available). Then she took more than 30 minutes to take our order, she would just tell us to wait, without any explanation. She wasn't busy, we could see her standing at the bar. But the WORSE part was that the kitchen staff and her started ARGUING, LOUDLY, something about our order, telling her to cancel and etc. And the food was TASTELESS. After our dinner was RUINED by their LACK OF MANNERS, the lady, who was Japanese, was all smiling, but it was too late for that. Everyone has heard about Japan's super nice hospitality manners, this one had no manners at all. It is super cheap but it is not worth it, we left feeling terrible, we regret we didn't leave while we were "waiting for a table". ...
Read moreThe service was pleasant and welcoming, which set a positive tone for the evening. From the dinner menu, a couple of dishes stood out: the fried chicken and okonomiyaki were both enjoyable, and I wouldn’t mind having them again. However, other items missed the mark. The ramen was unfortunately extremely salty to the point that we couldn’t finish it, and the gyozas lacked flavor and depth.
On a sweeter note, the matcha flan was a nice surprise—subtle and enjoyable.
Cleanliness is another area that could use attention. The dining space itself could feel much more inviting with some upkeep, especially the bathrooms and older decor elements like the dusty lanterns, which detract from the overall atmosphere.
I truly believe this place has promise, and with some improvements to the food consistency and cleanliness, it could become a go-to spot. Wishing the team all the best...
Read moreVery authentic and absolutely Oishii place in Barcelona. We stumbled upon it by sheer coincidence and boy were we glad we did. The gyoza was Handmade and fresh, the veggie ramen was absolutely on the money with its fantastic white miso broth and what felt like homemade ramen noodles, and the Okononiyaki was to die for. As if this wasn't good enough already, along came the dessert to blow our minds away - matcha Flan. Yes, Spanish flan infused with matcha. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces from my head after such a mind blow. The prices are also very good, especially considering how authentic this place is. Service was impeccable. 5/5, highly recommended, will...
