La Pizza Pazza — Restaurant in Barcelona

If you are a foreigner or black person, be careful when entering this pizzeria. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER

I simply had one of the worst services of my life. A few weeks ago, I went to the place to buy a large pizza for 10 Euros. I entered and was attended to by a man who seemed to be in a very bad mood. He asked me what flavor I wanted, I showed him a picture and informed him that I would like to buy one like the one in the photo (which I had previously bought at the same pizzeria). He asked me to wait. I waited and the man who had attended to me was frequently looking at me. After a few minutes, the pizza was ready. The man who had attended to me asked if I would like to add some sauces that were available on the table. I followed his advice and went to the sauces, where there was a small spoon in each of them. To avoid spilling the sauce, I took exactly 3 servings with the small spoon that had been provided. On the second serving of sauce, which did not total 5 ml, I heard this attendant commenting in Spanish to his coworker (This guy is going to put a kilo of sauce). His colleague, in turn, was extremely rude, simply took the sauce from my hand, ran to hide it, took the pizza box from my hand, closed it violently and rudely, and told me to leave. I simply couldn't believe what was happening. Note that the pizzeria was crowded, and I didn't see this happening to other local people.

Si eres extranjero o negro, ten cuidado al entrar en esta pizzería. Simplemente tuve uno de los peores servicios de mi vida. Hace algunas semanas, fui al lugar para comprar una pizza grande por 10 Euros. Entré y fui atendido por un señor que parecía estar de muy mal humor. Me preguntó qué sabor quería, le mostré una foto y le informé que quería comprar una igual a la de la foto (que ya había comprado anteriormente en la misma pizzería). Me pidió que esperara. Me quedé esperando y el señor que me había atendido me miraba frecuentemente. Después de unos minutos, la pizza estuvo lista. El señor que me había atendido me preguntó si me gustaría poner algunas salsas que estaban disponibles en la mesa. Seguí su consejo y me dirigí a las salsas, donde había una cuchara pequeña en cada una de ellas. Para evitar derramar la salsa, tomé exactamente 3 porciones con la pequeña cuchara que había sido proporcionada. En la segunda porción de salsa, que no totalizaba 5 ml, escuché a este atendiente comentando en español con su compañero de trabajo (Este va a poner un kilo de salsa). Su compañero, a su vez, fue extremadamente grosero, simplemente tomó la salsa de mi mano, corrió a esconderla, tomó la caja de pizza de mi mano, la cerró violentamente y groseramente, y me dijo que me fuera. Simplemente no podía creer lo que estaba pasando. Detalle que la pizzería estaba llena y no vi que esto sucediera con otras...

We ordered 3 slices of Margarita, although it was from a full pizza they put them back to the oven to heat up and it came out with bottom burnt. When I pointed it out, the staff checked it and said it was not the reheating, but the ready pizza was already that dark. I will not return because the minimum thing would have been to change the pizzas as they were horribly bitter-burnt, toasty, crunchy and hardly and such a thin layer of tomato and cheese that you can hardly taste it. Very disappointed. Also, you shouldn't allow people to beg for money inside the shop, I know that in other pizzerias they help homeless people after closing by giving...

This place is fantastic. I never pass a pizza by the slice joint without trying a slice. I only needed two to fill me up but I went ahead and had another because it was so damn good.. The crust is absolute perfection. The ingredients are top notch, locally sourced and ranging from traditional Italian slices to creative variations. The proprietor is someone you need to meet and get to know. I have to mention the prices as they are a third of the price of other places close by. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
