I’m not sure what happened this time around given the thousands of 5-star reviews but the food was somewhat average and inconsistent across the board. We had: Pork Ribs - the flavour was great but the ribs were inconsistent in texture, i.e., some pieces were super tender while others were chewy and dry. Octopus with Truffle Mash Potatoes - same with the Octopus, some pieces tender while others were chewy - also the menu is misleading, because it doesn’t specify that it’s actually just a massive amount of TRUFFLE OIL - which was used so liberally that you couldn’t taste the octopus or even mashed potato at all - it’s also the most expensive item which was a bit of a rip off for one octopus tentacle cut into tiny slices and mashed potatoes with a boatload of truffle oil. Crispy Fried Calamari - again, some pieces super crispy, the others soggy and the batter falling off which usually happens when they’re not freshly battered. Also the mayo on top was sort of tasteless? General lack of seasoning and balance across all the dishes.
The location is nice and service was relatively attentive - I’m not sure if this was just an off day for the kitchen but sadly the flavours were just not there. It’s also somewhat overpriced for the quality...
Read moreWe ended up eating at La Terraza Miró twice during our trip—and honestly, we went back a third time just for dessert. That’s how good it was.
The pork ribs were unreal—so tender they practically melted. The octopus was another standout, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the skirt steak with crushed peas? Total win. Everything we ordered felt really intentional and just downright delicious.
Now for the desserts. We tried four of them (no regrets), and two really stood out: the cream cheese and strawberry tart, which was light and smooth, and the chocolate chemistry one that came with a surprise inside—seriously, don’t skip it. We loved them so much, we made a third visit just to have dessert again.
Moreover, what made the whole experience even better were the little touches. Each dessert came with a cute illustrated card that described it, and the receipt came in a tiny box that played music when you opened it—such a fun surprise. We also got to meet the owner, and she was incredibly kind and clearly pours her heart into everything there.
This place isn’t just about great food—it’s an experience. Cozy, thoughtful, and full of personality. Easy 10/10, highly...
Read moreFirst of all this restaurant offers a lot of originality and creativity from their decor to the food. The menu itself is presented in a very creative way. We had the Àngel croquettes filled with mushroom and iberian ham, very very tasty and soft. So we ordered more afterwards. Then the Hakuna Matata bravas, franky chicken and the adventurous octopus who was trying to find it's true love. I loved the brava sauce. It was super flavourful. So that was my favourite among all. The octopus was quite good if not the best. For drinks we had the Sangria which had a good ratio of wine to juice. It was not all diluted with juice as one may find in many places. We were too full to try dessert, so that is due until next visit. Overall the food experience was quite good. The waiters are all very attentive and friendly and some of them speak english as well. But the service can be a bit slow. I don't know if that was because we were at the terrace. The prices are a bit high for some items like the croquettes and a cup of sangria, even compared to the restaurants in the more touristic areas of the city. Also there is a 10%...
