McDonald's — Restaurant in Barcelona

During a recent visit to McDonald's, prompted by an enticing advertisement we saw at the bus stop, we decided to try the new ice cream that was being heavily promoted. The posters showcased a visually stunning treat with various fillings like chocolate and marshmallow, making it look irresistibly delicious. Naturally, after a day at the sea and with a McDonald's conveniently nearby, we were excited to indulge in this new dessert.

Upon ordering the new ice cream, however, we were immediately struck by the disparity between the advertised image and the actual product. The ice cream we received looked nothing like the beautifully crafted treat on the posters. It was a bit of a letdown visually, as the expectation set by the advertisement was quite high.

Despite the underwhelming appearance, the taste of the ice cream did not disappoint. It was very tasty, featuring delightful flavors and a satisfying texture. The different fillings, although not as prominent as in the picture, added a nice touch. The ice cream machine made a few clicks and whirs, but the end result was a delicious treat that we enjoyed.

In conclusion, while the new ice cream at McDonald's is delicious and worth trying, the appearance significantly falls short of the promotional images. It would be even more enjoyable if the product matched, or at least came close to, the beautiful pictures in the advertisements. Been here twice, and both times service was the most slowest I have ever been served in Mc donalds! I order at the self service but as I am on holiday I would like to pay cash. I am standing for 10 minutes just to even pay for my food, which followed by another 5 to prepare my food. Staff there is rude and do not even acknowledge I am standing at the till wanting to pay, just looking up the screen preparing food. I have to shout over the counter to get someone’s attention!! Went onto the right hand side to see if I can pay there but no the server asked me to pay on the left hand side. Yet when another customer gave her the order to pay she happily served them! Ridiculous! very slow service and 1st time got half the order missing... Only thing I liked was happy meal they do fish burger! Abso...

This McDonald's could not add some pickles to a burger order... 'Because it is a Law'.... Is that Spanish for cant be bothered to? Pickles is beyond them? Also no veggie burger option anywhere on menu. Burger King just down the road is there for your junk food fix with pickles and veggie buns to spare and a nice site by the port with great staff. Service: Dine In Time: 9pm Cost: 12E Edit: to the 'response from owner': there is nothing 'personal attention' nor 'attention to details' about a burguer with pickles. It is the most basic standard thing there can be at any burguer joint. If that is beyond this McD's, then everything else certainly is. The response trying to make as if something as simple as pickles constitutes 'personalized attention' and 'care to details' is a bit odd. Thanks...
