Viana absolutely blew our minds and served us a meal we will never forget.

The service was absolutely incredible from start to finish, with a really warm welcome and staff members constantly checking on how we were finding the food throughout the meal. My fiancé and I don’t drink alcohol and they even adapted one of their existing cocktails to suit us without alcohol and it tasted gorgeous.

We started off with a lovely appetizer, which was on the house, getting us off to a fantastic start. We both then went for the Salmon Tataki for our entrée. The salmon was perfectly-cooked and melted in our mouths! The combination of the kimchi mayonnaise and the honey along with the texture of the pistachios was just to die for.

For the main course, we chose the 350g Argentinian premium ribeye steak, topped with mushrooms, garlic chips and charred peppers and broccoli, served with a wonderful jus. The beef was some of the softest I’ve ever had - I was able to cut through it like butter. Although a little rare for what I had ordered (this was absolutely fine though as the waiter saw and asked if I was okay with the cooking of the meat, to which I said yes, as I’m also a fan of rare meat), every bite was incredible. It was also beautifully seasoned and went perfectly with the accompaniments. The mushrooms were particularly delicious. This main course absolutely knocked my socks off.

For dessert, I went for the chocolate option, which consisted of three different mini chocolate desserts, all of which were so decadent. The chocolate mousse was the lightest I’ve ever tasted - it was more like a foam packed full of cocoa flavour than anything. The brownie was nice and fudgy, which is just how I like it! My fiancé went for the cheesecake option and was just as impressed as I was.

Viana is a small, convivial restaurant with top-quality food that truly packs a punch. I adored my meal and have never seen such attentive staff - I won’t hesitate to return next time I’m...

My wife and I had dinner at Viana on the last night of our honeymoon in Spain. November 16, 2024. We knew it was a highly rated restaurant and we got there early before they open their doors. Thank goodness we did as they were able to seat us, but it was booked solid, so I highly recommend a reservation if you’re planning on going in the future. Our server was Chabby. We didn’t know what to order so Ms. Chabby made the selections for us. And she didn’t go wrong. We started with Zaburinas, which was scallops. Delicious! We had a salmon dish called Takati de Salmon that was amazing! We had a half order of the Octopus with prawns, called Media Pulpo Gallego. In hindsight, we probably would’ve gotten the full order! It was so good. As we were still hungry, we ordered an additional tapas called Canelon Black Angus. It was off the charts. While we were wrapping up a German couple sat next to us and we told them we highly recommended everything Chabby had steered us towards and they did the same much to their satisfaction! The restaurant is small and narrow with a fashionable bar area at the front. The front of the building isn’t flashy, in fact, had we not been looking for it we would’ve missed it completely. But I can tell you after almost 10 days in Spain and many amazing meals, this one was hands-down the best that we had. It was our absolute favorite and the staff...

Viana was host to our bachelorette party's big fancy dinner in Barcelona. The ambiance inside is very chic and the service was magnificent.

You can choose to indulge in a €65 menu which includes a variety of starters, a main of choice, and dessert, plus a bottle of wine for every four individuals. I was happily surprised to see that they offered a dedicated vegan friendly prix fare menu so that I could be a part of my party's dinner.

The waiter was able to explain the menu options to me and even shared honest feedback about their recommendations. I chose to go with their mushroom paella as my main since it sounded heartier than the other option, and they agreed.

As our food came out, I was given individual vegan dishes that honestly looked better than my friend's meat options. Loved their stuffed tomato and stir-fried tofu and veggies. They even deconstructed a complimentary starter to make it vegan for me to enjoy.

The veggie paella I had here was the best of the bunch from my time in Barcelona. I was pretty tired of it by this point but was able to enjoy that and the fresh fruit at the end as my dessert.

We stayed for nearly 3 hours for the meal which seems so commonplace in Spain. Thanks Viana for the wonderful experience and for making sure we got all our bottles of wine by the end of the...

Came here with family of 8 on August 2nd 2025. Loved it and meant to leave a review sooner but flew out the next morning and it got pushed back till now. First of all, food was great. Everything we ate, we loved and finished every bite. But what made this so great for our family was the staff. We were clearly tourists and knew a little bit about the cuisine but it is so much more helpful to have a local help you pick and recommend the dishes. We ordered the things that we knew we would like and then while they were taking our order, they asked us if we wanted some help. We let them order a few more for us so we could get an authentic experience. This is so helpful because we didn’t know how much food would come out so them picking some additional dishes knowing what we already had coming made it a complete meal. We definitely would have been left hungry without. We also had an 8 year old with us and they were able to make a few of the dishes with his preferences in mind. We were trying to make it to mass after dinner otherwise we definitely would have stayed for dessert as well. Unfortunately, only took a few photos. But, bottom line was food was great and service was the best we had while in Barcelona. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend the stop during your travels.
