I recently dined at Nuara, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and elegant, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal.
The highlight of my experience was the lobster paella, which was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were rich and harmonious, with perfectly cooked lobster that melted in my mouth. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the chef's expertise and passion for seafood.
The starters were equally impressive, with a variety of flavors that tantalized the taste buds. The Andalusian-style squid was a personal favorite, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
What truly set Nuara apart was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Their recommendations were spot-on, especially when it came to pairing the dishes with the amazing sangria they offer. It was refreshing, bursting with flavor, and the perfect accompaniment to our seafood feast.
Overall, Nuara is a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience on the coast. With outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere, I can’t...
Read moreAn absolutely wonderful dining experience! Starting with an inviting, open and beautiful restaurant decor inside and out The views are of the entire port Olympic including the Vella hotel. The attentive, friendly and professional staff welcome you with genuine warmth from the moment you enter. The menu offers wonderful choices of starters, main dishes and desserts. The wine list is extensive. From start to finish the quality of every bite was mouthwatering. We had the artichoke salad with pine nuts, the poros, a type of leak in an unbelievable mushroom sauce, fresh calamari battered and fried served hot with a salsa to die for, fresh bread toasted with anchovies and we were still excited to try the main course. We had a wild sea bass deboned beautifully with fresh vegetables and homemade hot fries. Speaking with the pastry chef we had to try his three recommendations. They were incredible! We loved them all but were amazed with the hazelnut lava cake which was delicious and unique. Overall, the ambiance, attentive staff, open kitchen, fresh and quality ingredients, delicious menu makes for a restaurant that we will recommend to all of our friends. We are definitely coming back!!!....
Read moreNuara offers a pleasant dining experience, benefitting from its location in the newly developed Port Olímpic, which lends a clean, modern atmosphere that certainly enhances the overall vibe.
The food itself was good, though difficult to justify at the price point. We shared a paella priced at €65, which came with eight tiny slivers of pork and a single squid, chopped and scattered on top… hardly the generous portion one might expect. I also found it disappointing that the paella was plated at the other side of the terrace rather than presented at the table, which, for me, is a fundamental part of the paella experience. That said, the socarrat was well-executed, and we each had three small portions.
The jamón ibérico was undoubtedly the highlight—rich, flavourful, and beautifully cured. The pan amb tomaquet was adequate, though the addition of garlic would have made a welcome difference.
In total, the meal for two (with one drink each and no dessert) came to €106, which felt steep given the portion sizes and overall offering.
