SUPERLOCAL — Restaurant in Barcelona

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant on their beautiful outdoor terrace with my dining companion. The terrace's design and decor transported us to Southern California, giving off vibes reminiscent of Newport Beach or San Diego. Our server, Christiane, provided exceptional service throughout the evening.

To start, I enjoyed the super sexy spritz cocktail made from Bombay Sapphire, cordial timur berry, pineapple, cava, and soda, which was truly delightful. My dining companion opted for the Province Paloma, made with Patrón Tequila, St-Germain liqueur, rosé wine, lemon juice, and grapefruit soda, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

For appetizers, the Super Bravas, the best potato bravas we've ever had, were cooked to perfection and served with a flavorful cheesy topping. The Watermelon salad was a symphony of tastes with cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, mint, black olives, toasted almonds, and balsamic vinaigrette.

While my entree, the Josper-roasted Iberian pork roast beef, was a disappointment as it was presented as part of the vegetable salad, my dining companion's Beef sirloin with flame-roasted peppers was delicious and perfectly prepared. I shared her meal, and she took mine home to rework it the next day. We also enjoyed a refreshing rosé sangria with red vermouth and pear liqueur.

A suggestion for the restaurant would be to clarify the presentation of the roast pork with vegetable salad entree on the menu to avoid confusion. As it is prepared, it would be better suited to the salad section of the menu. Additionally, attention should be paid to maintaining cleanliness in the elevator, as our experience there was less than pleasant.

Overall, aside from the disappointment with one entree and the elevator incident, our dining experience was excellent. We opted not to have dessert, but we left satisfied and grateful for the overall...

I stumbled upon this place while exploring the waterfront. It was very hot and I needed something lite and refreshing. Upon being seated, Victoria greeted me and spoke English (which was very helpful for me) I asked about the house made focaccia and she was sincerely enthusiastic about how delicious it was. I ordered that along with a kale salad. She pointed out the watermelon salad and suggested it would be very refreshing. All I can say is, WOW. Watermelon salad with cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, mint, black olives, toasted almonds, and balsamic vinaigrette. Such an amazing combination and perfect for the hot afternoon!!!

I knew I had to return one of the two remaining nights with my daughter and friends. So we came back for a later dinner, 9pm. I was pleased to have Victoria as my server again. We started off with a delicious strawberry rose spritz, amazing flavor and again super refreshing. We ordered Paccheri pasta with stracciatella, homemade Marcona almond pesto, semi-dried tomato, and baby spinach, soooo good!! Plus another watermelon salad with focaccia. Our friends ordered prawns with potatoes, garlic sauce, chili and fried eggs. They were in heaven!!

We have been traveling throughout Europe for the past few weeks and this definitely one of the top meals of our trip. The restaurant is in a tourist area near the beach so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was beyond!! From the location, food and the great service from Victoria. Thank you
