I've been to this restaurant twice in one week, I have to say that if you're looking for comfort food this is the place to go. You can have Catalonian dishes or a hamburger and you will be satisfied. The meat is especially delicious, I suggest the beef in wine and mushroom sauce with shallots: it's the most tender beef I'd ever had. Also the beef cheeks are tender and juicy. The burrata with basil sauce is very good as well, and also the beef tongue is worth a try! Regarding the place, I loved the decorations, very particular and vintage. The music is soft and relaxing, vintage as well. The staff can speak English and also Italian. The price is very honest. Recommended!

Great cosy restaurant with excellent menu selection. We went here quite late as we left dinner almost too late. We were the only ones in the restaurant and thought they might be shut (and not good) but we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were super nice, menu was well priced, wine was great and food was excellent (especially the beef cheek which was amongst the best we’ve had in Barcelona). It amazes me that places like this are quite yet some terrible places close to this restaurant and absolutely packed...

While walking within the magic streets in Ciutat Vella, I fell in this really small restaurant. First impression wasn't great, but it changed quite quickly since I did the first step in. The manager was a really kind lady that helped me to understand the menu. I went for a simple salad: the design was really nice and the taste even more. The bread on the side was superb! It's very hard to find it open, but if you do, please....it's highly recommended!

This is a very typical tapas restaurant in Barcelona. The service staff are very rushed and almost devoid of any knowledge of what is currently available from the items listed on the menu. Ordering a drink typically requires two or three attempts before they return to the table with what you actually ordered instead of waiting 5 minutes for the staff to return and say “I’m sorry we don’t have that item available“

The tapas are both average quality and of average presentation. The portion sizes are large enough to share.

The restaurant is surrounded by outdoor seating with large windows left open. All the cigarette smoke from outside blows directly into the restaurant so if you like to sit inside to avoid cigarette smoke do not do that at this location.

A three star rating is warranted for such and...

Super overpriced for the size and quality of what you get. The place is enchanting, when it comes to the food, to start with they don't know what a shandy is. They get you a normal beer. Service at the table is not professional. I would not recommend this place at all first because for the quantities you get the plates are super overpriced and the dish itself is not well made. Calamarcitos we didn't think it has any jamón sauce although wrong good reviews about it, meloso de ternera a joke, the duck not recommendable...oh and the bread which is included when you ask for the cheese platter or embutidos is actually not included despite of being told twice about it, we saw it on the bill. And when asked if everything was ok when paying the bill looks like our honest reviews are not well taken, then don't...

This a kind of upmarket tapas restaurant specializing in Catalan dishes. The atmosphere is sophisticated and romantic and it’s in a quiet part of El Born that isn’t particularly touristy. We had the escalivada, the olive tapenade, the patatas bravas, the cod and the black rice and it was all really excellent and fresh tasting, not greasy or heavy. The patatas bravas were my husband’s favorite from our whole trip to Barcelona! It was lots of food for two people although I would still say it’s on the expensive side. Chocolate fondant for dessert was tasty although nothing particularly unique. We walked in at 7.30 pm without a booking and were seated immediately but lots of reservations started to come in around 9pm, so I would make a booking or get there on...
