What to say about Ramen House?
This is, so far, my favorite ramen restaurant chain in Barcelona!
The service is always great at this location in Rambla Poblenou, as is the cleanliness. The design and decor of this restaurant is so cool, because it's built like terraces that remind you of the rice plantations in Asia, so, as you walk in, you're at the highest point with booths of tables on both the right and left sides, until you reach the main level with the rest of the side-by-side tables. Additionally, they have the chop sticks "trainer," which are highly appealing to the children (and some adults), as they are colored, rubber toys. The food quality is amazing, which is the first criteria I follow when rating a restaurant, as it should, and so besides being good, I would like to thank them for remaining consistent in that delivery of quality, which is something some other chains can't say... From the ramen to the sushi rolls, from the curry to the rice balls, and from the ice cream to the mochi, everything is delicious.

We tried both the shoyu and spicy pork ramen (each around 12 eur). Both dishes tasted authentic, with notably thick chashu slices that, while unconventional, were delicious. While the spicy pork ramen was more salty than spicy once mixed with the broth, I preferred the shoyu. For mochi dessert (somewhat pricey ~6 eur per piece), it came with an ice cream-style filling that was decent, though not...
Read moreNice restaurant and good food. I don't know a lot of ramen place's but I thought the food was really good. I had a teriyaki chicken noodles, my husband a sopa and my daughter ate a surimi onigiri and we treated ourselves with cheesecake and chocolate mochi. We found all was good. The staff was really nice and even offered a lollipop to the girls. We were placed in the booths which I was pleasantly surprised that we couldn't feel the cold from outside. The only downsides was the seat weren't padded and not the most comfortable I think also we didn't have all the food together which I prefer. We will go back. Highly...
