I attended a group event at this restaurant with over 100 guests, and while I appreciate the effort, the execution fell short.

The food arrived in uneven waves, leaving some of us waiting, which was a struggle to obtain food. At the end, food was leftover on the tables where it had gotten cold. It seemed like the restaurant might have been in over their heads with the large group size.

However, the beverage service at the bar was a highlight, with friendly and attentive bartenders. With some adjustments to their planning and timing, I'd love to see this restaurant get better with group events.

For now, I'd recommend groups speak with the management to understand the plan of their event before booking.

This an an unassuming and unpretentious place. However, every time I eat here, I love what I have. I am a trained chef, and I can tell they purchase great ingredients, and do some very creative things at times which I've really enjoyed. The owner is a lovely kind man who also whips up amazing cocktails if you ask.

Today, I came in late for lunch, but he was still kind enough to accommodate me. I had some of the best mussels I've had in a long, long time. And, I'm writing this review as I await what I assume will be a really good risotto... quiet diamond in the rough. ...
