Myself and 3 friends went here hoping for an authentic tapas experience. We were extremely disappointed. Firstly the food came out at completely different times; our patatas bravas came out 15 minutes before any other dish and some of us had no food whilst others had all their tapas. Secondly the food was not as described; the “assortment of hummus” was just a bowl of 1 type of hummus with no bread. My friend ordered a wok vegetable and tofu dish which was just stir fried veg with no tofu. Any time we tried to raise an issue we were met with pure rudeness, insults and shouting from the staff. We tried to call someone to our table for 20 minutes and were ignored. When we finally went up to speak to a manager we were interrupted and shouted at, told we were aggressive and impolite, and accused of bringing our own water into the restaurant despite purchasing it there. DO NOT GO HERE! I recommend Sensi Tapas the next street...
Read moreWe went here a few days ago - I think it was a holiday in Barcelona because they seemed really busy. However, we were the first seated for lunch and we honestly just didn't enjoy any of the food. My husband had a vegetable paella and honestly I don't think I've ever seen a sadder looking paella... he said it was tasteless. I had the Menu del dia and honestly, wasn't happy with the food. The first dish I had was a fideua with muscles and baby squid. Didn't enjoy it - at all. The overwhelming taste was of salt, and not a lot else. The second dish was a whole sea bass with potato's. The potato's didn't taste of anything and the seabass was burnt and had a grainy texture. I wish we had left before the dessert because honestly it didn't get any better. I left more than half of each dish. All three dishes took a long time to come out, which can be forgiven if the food was nice, but it just...
Read moreThis is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We were three friends and we ordered two paellas with seafood. We received a somewhat bigger paella mixed with some seefood and a lot of chicken. The rice was very badly cooked. We were said the 2nd one will arrive soon. After asking several times in English, Spanish and German, we were told that that we have received what we ordered. One of us ordered a freshly pressed orange juice. Instead, they brought a commercial one, so we changed for water. In the end, we were told to pay for 3 paellas and the orange juice. The waiter was very aggressive. He told us that if we had not liked the paella, we would have not eaten it, which was not the point of the discussion. When we wanted to pay, he took the credit card and shortly went away with it, refusing to make any changes...
