This is a chain a bit upscale from MacDonald and all the rage here in Barcelona, BUT It failed to impress as far as taste in the actual food. It was my first Attempt of a having a good juicy Burger, however it was not to be. Whenever possible, I try to have local food. But this particular day. I was hungry for a Burger American style 😋. Outside of United States, particularly in Europe. I have found that McDonald's has very good offerings different from what I find at home, but I don't like to go into them because I like local. I always wanted to try this place after seeing them in the burger awards, but what a terrible place. We sat ignored outside for 20 minutea(we were the only other occupied table) I finally went in and ordered. The fries, which came 10 minutes after the burgers, were droopy, cold and dripping in oil. I ordered the la emmy glass as it was advertised as feiry, but it came in a bun coated with sugar. Who wants to eat a chilli burger in a doughnut??? The service was terrible. When we asked for napkins (none were provided) we were told, at the station! Now I know fast food places have stations where you grab napkins, salt, cutlery... But we're not a fast food place. While the burgers ended up being quite tasty, I must advise the tourists to BE VERY ATTENTIVE WHEN PAYING THE BILL - we were overcharged 9 euro and subsequently lied to. When we initially pointed out the mistake in the bill to our waiter, we've been told that the menu contains the "weekday prices", and on weekends the burgers are more expensive. We have asked the local woman on the table next to us if this is true - it wasn't. The manager of the restaurant then came and gave us 9 euro back, saying that there was a mixup with another table - which is (a) impossible, since you pay immediately after making an order and (b) doesn't explain the lie about...
