We went ready to spend some money and have a great time , they were going to set was at a table for two , I asked if we could set at table for 4 so I could sit next to my partner who is hard of hearing , all I kept hearing was , their are only two … I said, yes, but he has hard of hearing and we are here to order drinks food, and spend a couple hours… When I went to order a dirty Grey Goose martini, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about… I even wrote it in Spanish on my translator and they told me they couldn’t make one… They wanted to know if I was gonna order food I said, yes, but we’re having drinks, appetizer, entrée, we’re here to spend some money… I paid for my partner’s drink and said just bring me my bill. He had a Campari and even that was like pulling teeth. I had a point at Campari on the menu. The guy at the front door said yes I know what a martini. I said yes a martinis are universal, whether you’re in France, Italy, Spain, Thailand everyone knows what a martini is… He asked me to sit down he would give me a martini and by this point, I was scared they spit in my food or my drink. It was just a bad experience. What a shame… So instead, we walked over to the majestic hotel got a great martini, great service and great food with polite people and I didn’t have to ask for a dirty Grey Goose martini 10 times. Maybe it is true what they say that they don’t want foreign tourists, which is a real shame because not only are we good patrons, but I always leave a generous tip for good service to our waiters in Spain, even though the tip is included… This is why we stayed in Sitges this trip , but still love Barcelona and wanted to come back during the holidays…but I had to shake off the negativity from...
Read moreRestaurant music isn't suitable for all types of customers. Currently playing Whitney Houston playlist and the music is quite loud. Upper deck had 3 screens showing the city in aerial views. Has nothing to do with the restaurant, doesn't create a restaurant experience for the customer. The restaurant lacks the proper identity they want to perform.
We ordered 2x entrecote rib eye and filet mignon in Medium & medium rare. In the end we got 2x well done and one medium rare. The meat were cold, sauces were cold. I ordered the bearnaise sauce which had too much lemon in it. My partner took the Parisian cafe butter which tasted like curry. As sides we took fries with truffle cream and grated parmesan, the cream itself had too much truffle which overwhelmed the other flavors. Another sidedish was baby potatoes in herbs, oven baked. They were hot but zero taste of salt & herbs, also they were overcooked. Main dish 2/5
Our waiter was friendly and kind. Maybe some insight, recommendations or even up selling should've been in place. Service 4/5
As desert we took one of their "tiramisu". Zero tiramisu in there. Flavored mousse and thin layer of cake covered in crumbled cookie. The only coffee flavor was a separate compartment with a very strong flavored coffee ice cream. All of that in a 2-set coffee boiler. Taste as it is 2/5. As a tiramisu 0/5
Final thoughts I've got no reasons to return for another experience. Even though we complained about the meat, no discounts were given. Full price was...

Negatives Cold, already cut steaks (fillet mignon, rib eye) were served - We didn’t ordered bavette Frites were soft and greasy (pls see picture) Souces were awful, out of which chimichuri was tragic and served boiling hot (see picture) Aperol spritz from the menu did not even include Aperol and tasted too bitter Steak Tartare was tasteless, without any seasoning apart from seperately served sea salt there were too few staff to serve the restaurant which caused significant delays, confusion among waiters and guests did not receive what we ordered and it was originally included in the bill, only after intervention it was excluded however… the intervention itself was not the answer to never asked question „how was it” but pure our initiative, relatively loud discussion caused other customers leave the place which has been concluded by staff as „cheating” cutlery after starters wasn’t changed even after putting it on the plates that were taken by waiter we waited app. 30 min to get first cocktails and the negroni given was clearly mixed on cheap gin or vodka, but after all it helped to digest...
