Ugarit Poblenou — Restaurant in Barcelona

We went to Ugarit first in a family group of six and we loved it so much we went back a few nights later with a friend. Both visits, we started with the 3 dips plate. Wow. Probably the best hummus I've ever tasted and the other two dips were excellent too. We tried three or four meat dishes, some delicious salads and wonderful grilled vegetables. All were freshly prepared from quality ingredients, well presented and so delicious. We had some really good wine too. The waiters were friendly and responsive and even offered us free liqueurs at the end of the meal. We had an outside table both times but the restaurant is also lovely inside. We visited this restaurant twice. We came back after our first visit because everything tasted amazing — it was absolutely delicious. However, the two visits were a bit different when it came to the service. The first time, everything was perfect, and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to return. Food: Their hummus was one of the most creamiest ones I’ve had! Their chicken was also very flavorful and tender. They have lots of options in the menu, which was a bit overwhelming at first. Some dishes seemed a bit overpriced. However, portions are generous.

Service: Very attentive staff. They also provided a free dessert, which was very kind.
