Isami — Restaurant in Barcelona

Ordered the menu of the day x3. Entrants were tasty (mango salad was nice and fresh, chicken nuggets were a large portion, salmon maki is what you’d expect). Principal was also a fairly good portion size (yakisoba had a nice flavor and not too spicy, rice and battered chicken was good, California roll w/cream cheese was good- smaller but with the entrants, it was enough). For dessert, we had cheesecake which was blackcurrant and it was a pretty decent size and the lemon ice cream.

Innovative Japanese. Very good variety in the menu. I have been here 2 times in a short period of time, and the food quality was great. Selection consists of basic sushi to specialized adaptations nurturing the Japanese flavours in an innovative way. I mostly stayed with the adaptations which I found really interesting for western taste. The service was good both in Spanish and English, and the waiting times from the kitchen was on...

The best place for Japanese lovers for lunch in Poblenou. We had 2 set menus and a Salmon main from a la carte menu and it was divine!

We had prawns with rice and chicken curry for mains and we could expect anything better.

White wine and cheesecake mochi for dessert 🍨 was amazing!

Also, wanted to say a massive shoutout for our waiter Ronald. He was super attentive and everything today was simply perfect.
