This ramen place is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the welcoming atmosphere and cozy Japanese decor set the tone for an incredible and immersive dining experience. The staff is attentive, smiley, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or explain the menu. One of them even time to give us suggestions of places to visit in Barcelona and how to play the “pyramid” game!

The ramen here is phenomenal—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, whether you opt for the creamy tonkotsu or the spicy miso. The noodles have just the right amount of chew, and the toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The chashu melts in your mouth, and the soft-boiled egg is always cooked to perfection.

Beyond the ramen, their appetizers are equally impressive. The gyozas are must-tries—they’re crispy, flavorful, and pair wonderfully with the main dishes. The attention to detail in every dish shows the passion and care the chefs put into their work.

Umaimon Ramen Bar – Authentic Ramen in Barcelona Our second stop during our Barcelona visit was Umaimon Ramen Bar, and it didn’t disappoint! The inviting front entrance and outdoor seating immediately caught our attention.

We visited on January 3, 2025, and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Choosing our table was a breeze, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable right away.

For our meal, we ordered the Black Garlic Ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen. Both dishes arrived promptly, and the service was smooth and efficient throughout. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, which added to the pleasant experience.

As for the ramen itself—simply delightful! Both bowls were flavorful, authentic, and well-prepared. The Black Garlic Ramen stood out with its deep, rich taste, while the Tonkotsu Ramen had a comforting and creamy broth that hit the spot.

Overall, Umaimon Ramen Bar offers delicious, authentic ramen with excellent service. It’s a must-visit for ramen lovers...

We were a group of 6 who ate dinner here on the 13th of April 2024.

The portions are generous, and we mostly got different kinds of ramen, donburi and curry rice. To start we had the Karaage and the Chicken gyozas.

The Karaage actually reminded me very much of the ones I make, so obviously I loved them.

The gyozas were as you expect gyozas to taste.

Personally, I ate the Teriyaki Curry Rice. A strange combination because Teriyaki already has its own flavour, which is delicious, and the curry is also overpowering. And when I see they have Karaage on their menu, it seems natural to have a Katsu Curry on their menu? I’m not complaining, just observing the oddity of it all.

The curry was very flavourful, and tasted as curry should. The portions are GENEROUS.
