Service:
It wasn't the best, it could be a lot better. Some of them were nice but not all of them, they need to learn some manners. Very slow and difficult to get their attention if you wanted to order something else. Forgetful when it comes to your meal, they may forget what you order, they may be a lot of people but that's their job to remember your order, not the customers.
Food:
To be completely honest, I was surprised by the taste of the food. It was pretty good, unlike other places that have poor-fake-cheap copies of Japanese food that doesn't even taste good, this restaurant has good variety of Japanese food that people may like. If you wanted to eat ramen, a real ramen, then I would highly recommend you to go RAMEN HERO. The dessert was another thing that surprised because it was very good, at least the one I had which made me want to try more in the future
Price:
I personally thought some of their food was overpriced. For examples, edamame is something that you can get anywhere and goes for 3 euros a full bag of it, here goes a small plate for 4 euros. I've been to other places where you can better quality for less or even better quality for higher price which I don't care as long as its worth it.
Overall:
It's a pretty good restauran, I could say the most popular Japanese food they have, Spanish people would immediately recognize from Mangas or TV shows. I wish if they can't get the price right, at least the quality of service can be a lot better. I would like to go back to try more food and give this place a few more chances before I decide I won't be coming back or I'll be recommending this place to everyone. I'll be writing another review next I visit this place.

Read moreIf you're passing by and find yourself in a situation to get immediately😱 a Ramen into your system...than why not, you're good to go.
I'd would describe it as a typical place for tourists that just don't know better. BtW it's strategically very near to Pl.Catalunya and the Ramblas.
Although Ramen allows all kind of variations. It's still essential to use quality ingredients and large cooking time for the "broth". Everything else is just a funny soup 🤷🏻♂
The place is nicely "themed" as Ramen/Izakaya but lacks authenticity due artificially trying to do so. This is typical for franchise joint ventures as it's products.
If you're a McDonalds / KFC / Burger King Type of guy....than this probably won't harm you 😬
Final word: The "people" behind this should consider to put more effort into quality ingredients and authentic 101Ramen cooking. Rather trying to fill their menu with a wide variety of artificial mediocre pseudo Ramen. Even more so with the amount of very good alternative Ramen joints in Barcelona.
The staff is doing a great job and are (how could they not) multilingual. Only for this reason I'm giving this joint 1 star *

Read moreI have had some good experience with Takumi's ramen in Germany cities like Dusseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich though we often had to queue up and wait for a long time when we visited them. I've even stock up packs of their cup noodle so that I can satisfy my craving for ramen at home. When I learned there is Takumi Ramen in Barcelona, I could not help wanting to find out how they compared with their German outlets. We went there for a quick lunch and there were not too many customers. The interior decoration was pretty colourful and the ambiene was vibrant that seems to cater more for younger customers. We had the chicken ramen. Their noodle is the think and curly type and made in Japan and shipping to Europe. I believe this help them to maintain the quality of their ramen and keep them consistent among their shops in various European countries. For the toppings, there were chichen steak and minced chicken balls which did have too much taste or flavour. The chicken broth was fine but no positive surprise. After all, I think I prefer Tonkotsu (pig bone broth) to...
