Delicious burgers and fries, well worth the wait (and YES you will wait!). I was yearning for a great burger, so my companion recommended we try Urban Burget & Bar, located at 20 Carrer de la Marina in Barcelona. It's a cute little restaurant with a great selection of burgers, sides and refreshing drinks. There is a large tented seating area on the sidewalk, but there was a bit too much wind the blustery day that we visited so we went inside to dine. We snagged a table near the entrance so we could still enjoy looking at the beautiful blue sky outside without shivering in the wind. We snapped a photo of the QR code at the table to access the extensive food and beverage menu. We started with drinks. I ordered a mojito and my companion ordered a glass of Leffe Original Belgian Blonde. Both were refreshing, but my Mojito was a little too bitter. The balance of lime to sweet was a little out of balance in direction of the limes. I only drank about half. My companion loved her Leffe Belgian Blonde and went for another one mid way through the meal. Regarding our food order: I prefer a quality but simple burger, so I selected the Yankee burger, removing the cheese and sauce which are standard (I prefer my burger smothered in yellow mustard!). I also ordered sweet potato fries. My dining companion ordered a "La Cabrita" burger, which layered carmelized onion and fried goat cheese on top of the 180 gr. of the prime Angus beef paties covered in a smoky red sauce. She also asked for an order of sweet potato frieds. Both of our burgers were delicious - the quality of the ingredients was evident, and they prepared them to the specifications we requested (I removed alot of things like the sauce, the pickles, and the cheese, and my dining companion asked for the goat cheese on her burger not to be fried). They were A+ burgers. And we were both so very glad that we had each asked for our own order of sweet potato fries because they were SO delicious, it would have been hard to share them. The fries were perfectly fried, coming out hot and crunchy, clearly having been made in fresh oil. Fried foods prepared in fresh oil always have a superior, fresher taste. The burgers did not look gigantic when they arrived and I wondered if I would feel full, when finished. But I was completely sated and satisfied at the end of the meal. Service in the restaurant was courteous and responsive. My companion was able to ask that the goat cheese on her burger not be fried. There wasn't much customer-server interaction, as the whole ordering process is through the QR code which takes you to the ordering app. Personally, I prefer a more personal approach to service, but these guys are trying to be modern and hip with their establishment. My only somewhat negative comment would be the length of time to receive our order. Please do NOT think of this place as Fast Food. It was anything but fast. I think we waited more than twenty minutes from time of order to time of service, which for burgers seems to me to be a long time. Greatest burger place in Barcelona without question. We ordered through UberEats and made a mistake and accidentally ordered from the same restaurant only it was 30 minutes away. When I arrived, I spoke to Diana and she was the nicest person I have ever met in my whole life. I told her there was no way we would be able to go that far and get our food, and that we would just order it again at her restaurant because it was totally our fault, but she said to wait and she would figure it out. The whole crew was incredible. Daniela gave me this gummy cheeseburger gift while I waited, and Diana got on the phone with UberEats and took care of everything with exceptional service that blew me away. The whole time I waited for my food to be made, I kept apologizing and saying it was our fault and we would be happy to pay again, but Diana wasn't having it. She went above and beyond. She was incredible! Daniela was as well. And Brayan and Carmen prepared the best burgers ever. They tried to scam me with the change. The short guy in the bar ( at evening) did not give me the change back. I did not tip as i went to the bar to order by myself. Also I did not give any sign like I would give any tip. After I asked my change back guy acted like what change... finally was fixed. For me I felt they tried to scam me. I sorry for the place because looked cool but I would never return.

This kind of attitude is not professional. Please reveiw your staff your hire. Also huge waiting time even the bar was almost empty. Big chit-chat behind the bar between employees but almost zero attention for customer who want order.
