The Carousel Bar — Restaurant in Benidorm

Please avoid this place at all costs!!!

I’ve never been to this place before but first impressions last. The karaoke host was rude and obnoxious. We had just entered the establishment and sat down some of us gave in karaoke slips which is fine. My very good friend took a little bit longer than us then proceeded to give slip in and was greeted with “you must buy a drink” as we had just entered and wanted to get in the queue first it was not necessary for her to make this comment. As a karaoke host I felt that she could have been polite and actually let people put their slips in first then make our drink purchase but that wasn’t the case. We were a group 7 strong and had money to spend. Unfortunately that comment left an extremely sour taste in myself and my friends mouth this led us not to sing and not purchase a drink. Love this place. Fab sound system. Magna, (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) host's the karaoke and works the bar. She's great with the singers. Gary George, (comedian and the owner) often comes in later to take over the karaoke with brilliant patter. The atmosphere...
