There's new staff working here since my last visit the day time bar lad is unhelpful says no to any requests to watch sports won't turn tvs over iv been coming here for a couple of months every year

Used to watch Footy cricket and the F1 Now told doesn't have the F1so went to red lion with sound on etc

They just had a new TV installed outside which is fantastic quality picture however there's no speakers so watched the England game with the sound on a 40 inch TV on the bar wall turned up to max not ideal with everyone talking over it

Prices are very competitive €1.50 a pint up to 7pm

Entertainment is great Pablo Bloom is a must see

All in all a nice place to sit and watch the world go by with clean toilets. One of the busier pubs/bars just outside of the main strip which provides a bit of respite from the usual chaos but without lacking in ambience.

The biggest draw here was the buckets of beer… 5 bottles of Amstel in an ice bucket for €5. There’s other beers available such as Desperados, Sol and Moretti ranging from €7.50 to €11 for a bucket of 5. Can’t beat those sort of prices!

There’s tonnes of seating outside providing shade in the afternoon as the sun sets behind the main building. There’s seating inside where they have a big screen TV and live music when required.

There’s also a handy fast food window outside the front of the bar which serves burgers and kebabs. I ordered a chicken burger which was average at best but to be honest, I wasn’t there for the food - it just helped line my stomach for all the...

We recently visited Uncle Peds to watch Pablo Bloom. The show was fantastic and Pablo was so talented and funny. The show was very relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience (lasted approximately 1 hour). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the show and the venue.

The staff at Uncle Peds were very friendly and hardworking, there was a great family friendly atmosphere (lots of children watching and engaging with the show), there was plenty of comfortable seating, the bar was immaculate and the drinks were reasonably priced (great selection including tea & coffee and prices were displayed).
