I stumbled upon this little joint, tucked away in a non-descript corner of town. As I approached the entrance, I could smell the tantalizing aromas of grilled meats and spices wafting out of the kitchen. My stomach rumbled in anticipation, and I knew I was in for a treat.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was transported to a bustling taqueria in the heart of Mexico City. The decor was bright and colorful, with papel picado hanging from the ceiling and a lively mariachi band playing in the background. The atmosphere was electric, and I couldn't help but feel excited for what was to come.
I started off with a refreshing margarita, expertly crafted by the bartender. The perfect balance of tequila, lime juice, and salt, it was the ideal way to start my culinary journey. And what a journey it was!
First up, the guacamole. Creamy, rich, and with just the right amount of spice, it was the perfect accompaniment to the warm tortilla chips. I could have eaten that guac with a spoon and called it a day.
But I soldiered on, because I had heard such great things about the tacos. And let me tell you, these were not your average tacos. The beef was tender and flavorful, the chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the vegetarian option was so delicious that even a die-hard carnivore like me didn't miss the meat. And don't even get me started on the salsa. It had just the right amount of kick, and I found myself dousing everything on my plate with it.
As I finished my meal and wiped the last of the salsa from my plate, I knew I had found a gem. This little Mexican joint may be tucked away in a quiet corner of town, but it packs a flavor punch that will knock your socks off. So do yourself a favor and check it out. And don't forget to order the margarita. Trust me, you...
Read moreUnfriendly vibe, poor experience. There are NO chairs, inside or out, even though the kitchen area is huge, and the places next-door have tables and chairs outside. There was no staff inside for the first few minutes I was standing there. I wasn’t certain they were open. Then, when someone emerged from the back, I was pointed to a QR code for the menu, which required an email login. I chose Guest. Then, I ordered, and it still required my credit card, name, and phone number. So, I opted for cash. Still required my name, phone number, and now email address again? (With an opt-out checkbox for marketing.) I just wanted a burrito.
So, I stood at the counter for a few more minutes, to ask if I could just order and pay anonymously. The lone employee was in the back and didn’t look up, so I just left. Very unwelcoming experience.
On the bright side, there’s another burrito shop a block away, which is cheaper, brighter,...
Read moreThe order did arrived forty minutes late, overall more than an hour and twenty minutes waiting. They did also missed some items in the order and charge for it. Still waiting for the missing items from my order. The customer service it's awful, rather than to fix the mistake or apologize, they claim they had loads of work and this can happen. And as for the food, it is more like flying kebab quality, you can call it burrito if u never tried one , but pretty much this ain't real Mexican food by no means. Perhaps this food could work if you are overly drunk and need to put something...
