Euskal Abertzaletasunaren Museoa — Attraction in Bilbao

If you are passionate about the political, socialvand artistical aspects of l Euskal Herria, then this is a little gem you will have to visit. I have to admit that, being a small museum, no extensive background and explaination are provided. You will have to know a bit about the historical and political traditions of the area. Nevertheless, originall objects and very detailed descriptions are provided to the visitor, to explore some aspects that are often overlooked in larger museums. We went on a Wednesday and the visit was free: if you go on any other day, the prices is more than affordable. an excellent museum - and a real tragedy that it is so poorly known and visited. the site is very unassuming - when we went, there wasn't even a staff member to be seen. but the site that the current office building above is built on is of great importance to Basque history. There are excellent pieces of art and history in this museum, well-curated and i can only think of its potential if it were better known than it...

Great! They were very accommodating and even let me have the audio-guide for free because the card machine wasn't working. Lots of information and original items presented very nicely. I would've gladly paid....
