Had a lovely meal here and also stopped by for drinks and breakfast. Lourdes was wonderful and took the time to get to know my wife and I and made great recommendations on drinks. They have a sister restaurant in Plaza Nueva that is more pintxo focused and those seemed to be more creative, if that is your thing. I highly recommend the breakfast here - they have a few different kinds of tortilla española and their bread with tomatoe cannot be beat - just really well executed. Oh and their fresh orange juice was just amazing.

We came here every day of our trip. The pintxos are incredible and especially the tortilla was the best we had even compared to Vitoria or San Sebastian. The tortilla with iberico ham and manchego is so tasty, we even took a few pieces back to our hotel. The bravas con aioli were great and so was the mini iberico burger. The staff was very nice and helpful, although our spanish was embarrissing 😅 Definitely our favourite place in Bilbao and surroundings!

Great service and great food! I was turned down many times because I was dinning solo and did not have a reservation. I almost gave up having dinner when I came to this restaurant. The waiter was amazing and was really friendly and helpful! Loved the scallops, very fresh and tasty. The beef steak is cooked to the temp I wanted. Even ordered an Orujo to finish off the evening. Thank you for being a friend in a strange city.

I strongly recommend having your own La Olla experience.

I have to highlight Lourdes's attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, which delighted us with her service🫶

The local wine was so good and reminded me of my favorite Ukrainian wine. We took 2 bottles! My Peruvian partner appreciated the gastronomic experience so much and was impressed by the high level of each aspect the restaurant was demonstrating.

It should be in the next TOP100 best restaurants list this...

There are a hundreds of restaurants and pintxos bars in Bilbao. If you like to spend excellent time in groovy atmosphere, nice and friendly bartenders, waitress and kitchen stuff, enjoying in excellent local Basque food and wine, find your way to La Olla.
