I'm aware of a lovely restaurant upstairs but on this visit we just had tapas downstairs. This is at least one of, if not the, best tapas bars in town. It's a genuine and wonderful place with a superb atmosphere and with competition on all sides nestling in well with this place. The range of exquisite tapas are all artisan, highly decorated and extremely tastey. There is a huge selection of wines available, one of the largest around, all are delicious. This place really is a must if you find yourself in...

The people of Burgos pride themselves on being a cut above when it comes to food. The lovely people here pride themselves on being a cut above in Burgos. They are wonderful, friendly and I've now visited about 25-30 times over the last 12 years doing the fatal-bananas.blogspot Camino to Santiago de Compostela. When I've reviewed the food this restaurant is always up there with the best on the Camino. Like cafe ligonde in Eirexe, Galicia, the friendly welcome makes the food taste...
