Berza Restaurante — Restaurant in Cádiz

If you are looking for a place to do some fine dining in Cadiz, this is where you must go. The restaurant is new (only 3 months old) and the interior is very refined. Although it has no outdoor seating, the inside looks very welcoming. I had a dish with steamed vegetables in red sauce with a poached egg which was delightful and filling. The bread and olives I had as a starter were also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helped me with choosing a nice Rioja. All in all, I would definitely recommend this...

Important to us to be able to sit at a table, not at stools, there is a back room perfect for this. Everything we had from the fabulous crispy bread and generous olive oil, shrimp croquettes (to die for) crispy prawns, fish pate and amazing toast with boquerones and anchovies and a mango and vegetable base. Great service, lovely wine and very reasonably priced. It was quiet in the back room which suited us as we were able to converse, but conversely not...

We immensely enjoyed our meal here today. Berza is attempting to go beyond the normal cuisine of Cadiz and is succeeding. We tried four dishes and all were delicious. The anchoa/boquerone brioche tapa was tasty, and the chipirones cooked perfectly. The albondigas de marisco was creative and complex. We also had the gambas de ajillo which was executed perfectly.
