Ristorante Italiano Mamma Pronto — Restaurant in Cádiz

We went to Mamma Pronto because they have gluten free pizza and pasta. I had a Margherita pizza and the gluten free pesto pasta, and you can select vegan cheese for your pizzas. They allow you to select your sauce with any gluten free pasta selection which is nice. My daughter had the mushroom risotto, which she said was the absolute best she’s had since we left Italy.

The pizza was good, and the crust was foldable. I’m guess they use a gluten free corn flour base for the crust. I would love to see them use buckwheat flour for a softer crust. The pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had in life, but it definitely was the worst, and I would most certainly return.

The staff is kind, and attentive. All in all this place is a winner and a good option for those needing to eat gluten...

We really enjoyed this little restaurant! The decor is simple and unfussy, but the service was good and the food was tasty! My husband and I were in Cadiz for five days and went twice as we enjoyed our first experience so much. I can't eat gluten, so I appreciated that they offer gluten free pasta and pizza crust. I got pasta both times as that's what I was in the mood for. It was very tasty both times, the best I've had during my time in Spain, and also a huge portion! The price was very reasonable, especially for the amount I got! Our server the first visit was a young guy who was very sweet and chatted with us about the snow in Canada, and made some recommendations of where to visit in Seville...

You must eat here, it is a celiac’s heaven! If you know, you know. For those of us who desire delicious gluten free pizza, but usually have to settle for cardboard —- your search is over. (Even if you can eat gluten, this is still the restaurant for you.) They have everything. You will not be disappointed. For us people with celiac, have no fear. This restaurant is so safe, so clean and so relaxing, it’s a small version of paradise. Even the pizza cutter will be specific for your gluten-free pizza.
