Gran Caffé Iannini — Local services in Palma

A lady (who is assume is the owner) was extremely rude to me and my friend. It was late so i asked if it was open, she dismissively jerked her head and said yes so I came in. As soon as i came in, however, she started shouting at us very aggresively (my Spanish isn't good enough to know what she was saying). Obviously once she started yelling we left the shop, then she started shouting down the street telling us to come back, but obviously we walked away. The reviews here seem positive so we must have caught them on an off day, but at the end of the day it was incredibly rude...

Ill go to the neighbors cafe... I have not met a more rude person behind the desk. I think this is the son in the family. If something tastes bad, take the critic and do not blame the customer. If I say that your pastry this day taste like soap it taste like soap... Do not answer me with.. Do you think my dad put dish-wash chemicals in the pastry? I aslo asked for a pastry with sugar and in spanish, you blamed me to step in and ask in spanish. It was no mening to talk to this young and not matured person. Love italian food but this is not even close to been mentioned as...

I went to this coffeeshop twice during my stay - very pleasant staff the first time, but not as nice as the first one the second - the guy behind the bar was quite rude, probably thought he is funny, but just left me with a very unpleasant feeling - also didn't seem to know words like "thank you" and "hi"and made fun of my Spanish, fair enough I guess, who knows how many tourists per day he sees - left me without any intention to come back unfortunately. The ice cream was ok, the cookie I had was dry...
