Goiko — Restaurant in Girona

I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. From the moment I entered Goiko in Girona, the staff’s attitude was dismissive, rude, and judgmental. I even asked them if they're open cause of how unprofessional they were. They were chatting, making faces, and mocking me instead of acknowledging me and greeting me as a customer that walks in their shop. When I asked for a table for one, I was sat & left waiting for over 20 minutes before anyone even took my order. I went downstairs to order myself and saw these 2 girls chatting and mocking again instead of coming to me.

I was told the fries I wanted were unavailable, yet 15 minutes later they served them to another customer. The fries I did get ( whatever they wanted to serve me) were raw, and the burger was mediocre at best.

Throughout the visit, the staff’s behavior made me feel uncomfortable and almost bullied.

This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable. A restaurant should never make a customer feel unwelcome or judged for no reason. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to...

Very tasty food, I had Onion Rings, Chicken Wings, and a Kevin Costner burger with some furnace potatos. The first complaint is the service, the workers are nice and all but it took very long to serve the food, thankfully however the food was very tasty, the Onion rings were very good, the wings were also great, the star here was definitely the Kevin Costner burger, it was amazing, it made the wait absolutely worth it, unfortunately I cannot say the same about the potatos, they wete kind of bland and tasted kind of old, nonetheless, again, the burger was an absolute banger, it was so good I forgot to take a damn photo lmao. While the place was visually nice, and this is a very subjective complaint, the music choice was awful lmfao, again, that last part is...

Chain restaurant on the decline...

Food came out cold and bland...same empty feeling as Mc Donalds after consumtion...and took a while to get to the table, staff members not very welcoming, one male server was serving drinks to tables whilst talking on the phone (was a very long and probably important conversation about 20 minutes) Place isn't clean, and as a tourist not speaking Catalan (even if you speak Spanish) the menu's we got were in Catalan and server spoke exclusively in Catalan...so I guess just the locals are welcome here..

Décor wise not too bad, lots of Neon and fancy posters that trick you into thinking the place is better...
