Long time customer who had a terrible experience. A server, while clearing the table, knocked a cup of sauce into the lap and the white shorts of one guest in our party. While mildly apologetic, the restaurant refused to accept any responsibility, claiming it was an accident (which is true). Unfortunately that does not absolve them from responsibility and any decent establishment would've been quick to try to resolve. Konig did exactly the opposite. The manager was defensive and aggressive and offered nothing. He kept pushing me for a 'number' - how much compensation I wanted. I refused to beg him for money. They should have a policy where they pay the cleaning bill at a minimum, perhaps more as required. It's not complicated and most restaurants are equipped to deal with problems like this. Regrettably Konig is not. I even wrote them via email twice and they are too arrogant or incompetent to even respond. So in the end they lose a long term customer who eats there 20 times per year for failing to acknowledge and accept responsibility for a staff mistake, which ruined our guest's day, and might've cost then 5 euros in a cleaning bill or other compensation. The manager should be reprimanded at a minimum for being completely obnoxious and unprofessional and the senior management or owners obviously are oblivious or don't care. Congratulations on losing a long term customer. The mark of a good business is how well you handle a problem, which invariably happens. Konig...
Read moreEverything is amazing about this place. One of the reasons I visited this restaurant in the first place is to grab a quick and cheap bite. Their menu says it all, their prices are ridiculously cheap. I was expecting for something mid considering their prices, but I was proven wrong. Being not able to decide on which sauce I wanted for my patatas, I ended up taking the bravas sauce and the 4 cheeses sauce. It definitely did not disappoint and that cheese sauce is definitely something to remember. The consistency of that cheese sauce is fondue-like, its just perfect. The patatas and their serving portion is generous and delicious, bravas sauce is great as well.
I ordered their 3rd burger in the menu, it was nice. This less than 5€ burger definitely tasted good though might be small for some people if they’re taking solely that (though it was perfect for me). I loved the caramelized onion in my burger.
I took their iberico ham croquetas to go, though I couldn’t resist to take one bite. It is very melty and delicious. Ended my meal with a cup of latte, it was perfect.
Overall their price to portion is definitely great and the meals were delicious. The service was excellent, all staffs were incredibly kind and helpful despite I speak no Spanish at all. I would definitely come back...

"Well, well, well… Where do I begin?"
As a loyal customer of this chain and a frequent visitor to Girona (I come at least once a year!), I’ve always appreciated their great value for money. But yesterday, at this specific branch, the experience was bittersweet. The food was good (as usual), but the service was seriously lacking…
The issue: A rude waiter with zero customer service skills. A friend of mine, whom I personally recommended this place to, left disappointed. The culprit? A tall, thin waiter with long black hair tied in a ponytail, who seemed to be in a bad mood from the get-go. When I politely pointed out that the coffee wasn’t what we ordered (photo attached! 📸), he snapped back: "This is how we serve lattes here", without even checking or apologizing. Not a hint of professionalism.
Why am I sharing this? It’s not the first time: This branch consistently underperforms compared to others in the same chain. Service matters: Great food means nothing if the staff is dismissive. Small gestures make a big difference: A simple "Let me check"or "Sorry about that"would’ve turned the experience around.
Final thoughts: I’ll keep coming back (because I love the brand), but I hope this feedback leads to improvements**. Staff are the face of the business, and bad attitudes can ruin a...
