Amazing tapas experience! It is clearly oriented towards tourists but it still seems genuine. Be prepared for quite a queue. We were lucky but 5 minutes after we entered, a queue started forming and by the time we were done (2 drinks), it was at least 15 people long.
The servers are amazing. Don't come here for a casual chitchat with the bartender or servers. These guys are hard-working, efficient, and always on the go. Just choose something and eat/drink it! Don't be fussy. This is free tapas, and being fussy is just bad manners.
The tinto de verano is perfect and they have an awesome selection of big brand and craft beer. The fridge is totally packed with loads of choice!
Great prices, huge tapa size packed with flavour, and wonderful staff. 👌
BTW, I don't understand the racism comments. My wife is Chinese and she didn't feel uncomfortable in the least. They were very helpful and welcoming. I think perhaps you just have to understand what a tapas bar is like and the culture behind it. It is not a "free food" buffet. It's one snack with one drink. And when it's busy, staff don't have time to...
Read moreDon’t bother going here if you don’t speak Spanish, the waiters are so rude. We initially ordered drinks and they instantly seemed annoyed that we spoke limited Spanish, they then told us that there is a list of choices for tapas and again seemed annoyed that we hadn’t already figured this out (even though it’s different everywhere else). We asked for a moment to look at the menu and they then completely ignored us for the next 20 minutes, keeping their back to us while attentively serving the tables around us. Finally managed to get a waiters attention to order another drink and they never even brought it out , meanwhile we watched as that same waiter sat at the bar eating food. We got up and left at that point. If you’re so offended by tourists maybe put a sign out the front to save people the time and a bad experience. Luckily there are plenty of other bars around the same area with amazing customer service, this is the only one I experienced where they do not have...
Read moreDisappointed in this place… we arrived and there was a line to get in. We waited outside as instructed by the waiters and as we were next to enter as people were leaving, a couple went in front of us and took the free table. Instead of telling them to wait outside as there was a line (as we were next), because they knew the waiter, they got preference over us. We then stood closer to the door and the waiter told us to wait outside. When we explained that we just wanted to be sure to get a spot and told him that the couple in front jumped the que, he said doesn’t matter, you have to wait outside. We then said we will just leave (there is plenty of other places around) he tried to get us to stay but because of the unfair service, we left. Looking at the other reviews, it seems to be a trend and overall the quality/ price vs service does not seem justified. Would not recommend if you are travelling locally or coming from abroad. They pick locals over tourists everytime....
