Di Put@ Madre — Restaurant in Madrid

Me and my friends were enticed to this place after an invitation from a very kind man we met in the nearby bar La pianola(also worth checking out!!). He made us two promises one was that we would meet a cousin of Maradona and the other was that this place does the best pizza in Madrid. While I can’t confirm if the former is true I can definitely say the latter is!! Having sampled more than a few Neapolitan style pizza joints across Europe as well as in Italy I can definitely say this place might be the best I’ve been to! The place is small but there are many menu options and the ingredients are very high quality a nice bonus is that you can see your pizza being made in the traditional wood fired oven! Our friend from La pianola also called out some friends for an impromptu guitar performance this was our first time in Lavapies and it was a pleasure to arrive in such a welcoming place where people are always happy to get together to share some great food and a beer! Finally I want to say the owners were both very kind and happy to chat with us and answer questions. I’m so happy to see all the positive feedback they have received after operating for 7 months wish them the best success...

While strolling through the streets of Madrid, we came across a delightful pizzeria. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by both the host and the chef, who introduced themselves and allowed us to choose our pizza. The aroma of the wood-fired oven filled the air, adding to the authentic ambiance of the place. The pizza itself was truly exceptional, especially when paired with the red wine they offered.
