I was really surprised by my visit to EatMyTrip today. The service was horrifically slow. It took over 10 minutes to get our coffees and nearly 40 minutes from ordering to getting our food. There were a decent amount of people in the restaurant, but not enough to warrant the staff being so slow at everything. The manager, a blonde guy with a facial piercing was walking around the restaurant, making drinks and serving customers with his mask down. We're entering a time when there are increasingly high covid levels amongst young people, exactly the clients that come to this place and the age group he belongs to. After a while he gave up pretending to wear it and just took it off. He was then rude to his staff and generally disinterested in showing any of the values someone in hospitality should. People like him are exactly why we're in the situation we are in right now. Last time I was here the staff were quite rude and slow, but today was something else.
The only reason I didn't give one star was because the food was good. The experience however, was pretty bad.
This place needs to sort out how efficiently their staff work and their communication with each other and customers. Not to mention, to wear their face masks while serving the...
Read moreThe ambience and environment is so lovely and bonito, with the cute, bright and colorful interior designs and decorations which make us feel in a little cozy and chill nest.
The service and staffs are well trained, very friendly and polite, trying their best to serve you. Honestly I wanna try every food in their menu, just looks so tempting with their innovation presentations. The signature dish gaucasrcamble is as good as it is, which you have scamble eggs, smoked salmon, guacamole and nicely displayed pinky sour cream, it is to respond Barbie hehe? The Thai chicken burger paired with potato wedges was so fabulous and way beyond my expectation, unique bun and with the good twist of Asian flavor from Thai curry, so you experience different layers of flavors melting in your mouth! The sprinkle of toasted peanut on the special sauce just made it another level! We enjoyed every bite of it with the juicy tender pulled chicken. A mouthwatering dish and experience!
And the price is reasonable and friendly, especially with their portion and pretty presentation. Each dish comes with a big portion so better think twice before you make the orders to avoid food waste! Highly recommend to check this...
Read moretl;dr: tasty brunch, tasty mimosas, very tasty carrot cake
I wanted some brunch and I don’t know madrid, so I googled “brunch” and was lucky enough to be near this place. They were very nice and accommodated is even without a reservation and after an initial refusal.
The menu has enough brunch options for some variety without being overwhelming. You can add extras like bacon and jalapeños to any of the potions and you can make it a full brunch (which includes orange juice and a dessert) for 4,50 euros more.
I had the brunch de los Alpes which includes potatoes, mushrooms, poached eggs , cheese and bread slices. Delish! For dessert, a slice of wonderful, wonderful carrot cake. My friend had the sweet Korean, which includes roasted sweet potato, kimchi and beetroot hummus. Had a taste and it was quite good too.
There was a misunderstanding when ordering coffee (at first it wasn’t brought, then they brought two instead of one) and they refused to charge for the coffee because of it. That wasn’t fair so I paid a tip to make up for it.
The Bill was 34 euros for two and we both left quite full, so I feel the price is fair. Satisfying...
