COCOL — Local services in Madrid

A wonderful shop with very nice and accommodating staff. The ladies helped me decide on my purchases and offered to help ship my items back to the USA (which I declined, but in hindsight, I wish I had taken them up on their offer because shipping on my own was a bit of a hassle)! I ended up purchasing a large woven bull head, handmade candle holder + candle (one for me and one for my mom), among a few other items. I thought the prices were reasonable, especially after traveling to Valencia and seeing similar items for equal or greater cost. Our Context Travel tour guide introduced us to COCOL and I am so grateful. It is a beautiful store featuring handmade and original work by local artisans. There is wonderful pottery, wool blankets and scarves, blown glass, and leather bags. The owner is delightful to work with and the store buzzes with good energy. Amazing little decor store with carefully selected pieces of porcelain, accessories and home decor.
