Some friends from London and I went to have dinner in La Estancia de Adriana, an Argentinean restaurant nestled in the heart of Madrid; I had the pleasure of trying their gizzard dish. As someone who appreciates authentic Argentinean cuisine, I was eager to see how this dish would measure up. The gizzards at La Estancia de Adriana are prepared with a perfect blend of traditional Argentinean flavors and a touch of Spanish influence. The texture was spot on, tender yet slightly chewy, giving a satisfying bite with each mouthful. They were perfectly seasoned, highlighting the savory and rich flavors without overpowering them. The presentation was also impressive. The gizzards were served with a side of chimichurri sauce, adding a refreshing tanginess that complemented the dish's richness. The portion size was generous, making it an ideal starter to share among friends or as a main course for those who enjoy offal delicacies. What stood out most was the balance of flavors and the evident care taken in preparing the dish. La Estancia de Adriana's chefs understand Argentinean cuisine's nuances and are skilled at bringing out the best in each ingredient. The La Estancia de Adriana gizzard dish is a must-try for anyone looking to experience authentic Argentinean flavors in Madrid. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this dish will give you a memorable taste of Argentina right in the heart of Spain.

I had an extraordinary dining experience at la Adriana Parrilla close to Puerta del Sol. The restaurant offers impeccable service, an excellent selection of menu options, and a classy ambiance that truly sets the stage for a memorable dinner. We were warmly welcomed with a cold glass of cava, and the meal even included after-dinner drinks, adding to the overall delightful experience. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in each dish. Every single entrée was prepared to perfection, showcasing the culinary excellence of the restaurant. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience. Moreover, as vegetarians, we were delighted to find a wide array of vegetarian options that went beyond the typical cheese and bread choices offered at other restaurants. The grilled vegetables we ordered were simply amazing, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to providing diverse and flavorful vegetarian dishes. Class, amazing food, and exceptional service - la Adriana Parrilla Puerta del Sol truly excels in every aspect.

I dined here with my mum while visiting Madrid this week and we had such a beautiful evening!! We sat outside under the lights and it felt so cosy. It was street seating so we watched people pass by, but the plants and screens kept us private enough. The menu has varied choice and the food was delicious and felt healthy. We had fizz aperitif, gazpacho starter, steak and pasta and then lemon sorbet, apple tarte tatin and cookie dessert - some of the plates were complimentary from the restaurant. Everything was delicious! The service was fantastic as well. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of our waiter because I'd love to mention him specifically. He's a young gentleman from Honduras, and he made us feel so welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful evening, making a special memory with my mum!

It was a bizarre experience. I walked in and asked for a table for 1. The waiter quickly walked away and I could hear him frantically speaking with someone else. They seemed dumbfounded that someone would want to eat alone. Finally after a few minutes of standing in the front, I was led to a table. Immediately I was poured sparkling wine (I don’t drink) and brought bread, butter, and a small traditional roll with cheese dip, none of which I asked for, but seemed like a complimentary offering. The wait staff seemed slightly annoyed that I was there.

I ordered my meal and it came within 5 minutes. It was fine. Mid-meal, they turned the lights up very bright only at my table. While eating, another woman came in and asked for a table for 1 and was turned away, despite the place being mostly empty. I guess they don’t like solo diners?

When they cleared my table, they asked if I wanted dessert and I said no. They then brought me a small pastry and another alcoholic drink, despite the fact that I hadn’t touched the sparkling wine from the start.

When I asked for the bill, they brought me a bottle of Bailey’s with a shot glass, which I also didn’t touch.

On the bill, they charged me for the bread + butter and the other small bread + cheese starter, neither of which I ordered.

Overall, quite a negative experience. I wish they had just turned me away at the start and I could’ve been spared the...

Excellent place to have a meal. Close to "Puerta del Sol" plaza and metro station. You have four places to eat in the restaurant: outside, where you have fresh air and air humidifier in summer. Remember outside is the smoker's area. inside, at the bar. You can have a beer and snacks. inside, at the tables. Here you can have a meal from the menu, or just ask for the day's menu. This part communicates with the outside trough windows, so sometimes you get the smell of cigarettes inside. Inside, at the back of the restaurant. For me this is the best place to have a meal. It's cosy, kinda romantic and far away from the noise and cigarettes. In general the food is really good, the attention by the waiters is excellent and are always there for you. Prices are fair. If you choose the day's menu, it's between 12 and 18 Euros. If you pick something from the full menu, a dish is between 24 and 35 Euros Remember always in Spain to go to the restaurants before 4 pm, because it's usual that they close the kitchen or the full restaurant for a couple hours. De María...
