Goiko - Maria Molina Gluten Free — Restaurant in Madrid

Great burgers but really bad service. I live on Serrano Street and come here often but every single time I come, the servers are rude and in a bad mood and are reminded why I shouldn’t come here.

Today I was told particularly that I could not sit in the table for two at one side of the restaurant because they want people to sit grouped together. What?!

We were made to be seated by the door by the cold air just because the server didn’t want 5 steps more to bring out food. She literally told me it was easier to bring the food out….. there were only 2 other people at the restaurant..

The only people who sit at the elevated part of the restaurant are the employees who more than once I have seen eating there.

The girl with the black hair and the tattoos on one arm gave us such an unfortunate experience. Customers should be treated politely particularly the ones who live in the neighborhood.

Let customers sit wherever they want considering the place that allows seating is extremely small and please… tables right outside the restrooms? That’s disgusting. I was once seated right outside the restroom and I could hear the person inside urinating.

I don’t know who manages this place but please align this more like the other Goikos I have been to who have amazing people working.

I have worked in the food service industry and behaving like the servers at this Goiko would have gotten me fired right away.

Our final meal in Madrid was not typical Spanish. It was here at Goiko and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals I had. I ordered the Kevin Bacon which had bacon bits, crunchy onions and American Cheese. This was amazing, the only downside to this burger was it was a tad bit salty. I got the nomal fries while my friend got the potato wedges, we both agreed the normal fries were much better. He also got the La Kiki which he enjoyed, there was a TON of cheese but I think that was a positive. I liked how they gave lots of sauce packets of mayo, mustard and ketchup. 📝Notes: I really like this restaurant, I felt good when ordering because the staff makes me feel comfortable. At the end of the day the quality of service is just as important as the quality of the food. I was a bit bummed out to see that out of the 12 burgers, only 8 had pork in them & 3 were plant based. So that leave me to have the Chipotle. I mean I did order the Kevin Bacon (with no bacon) but I did feel like it was missing something. What im trying to say is I don’t like removing items from the menu but at the same time I cannot have bacon / pulled pork. So it’s hard for me to recommend this to someone who...
