Initially we were very excited about this place! It was a cute find - a small and intimate cafe, and we were looking for breakfast and stumbled upon it. My fiancé ordered an eggs, bacon, and mushroom dish and I ordered a season eggs Benedict with pumpkin and kale. As I was eating, I unfortunately noticed a small worm in my food and asked if they could throw my plate away because I no longer felt comfortable eating it. The waitress saw the worm as well, she apologized and of course obliged and said that if I wanted to order something different that we wouldn’t be charged for it given the situation. I instead order a yogurt and granola bowl. When we went to pay, we noticed they forgot to take off the meal with the worm in it. We mentioned this to them and they said no, they took my coffee drink off instead of the worm meal even though the waitress told us that my second plate would be free. We were extremely disappointed with this outcome and we don’t feel it was fair - we were very nice about the situation. However, we felt the need to share in hopes that this won’t happen again.

¡Volveremos a Lartisan! 🏅 9/10 #comidamadrid #madrid #restaurantesmadrid #madridfood #lowcost #recomendaciones #foodiesmadrid #deliciousfoodmadrid #Lartisan *Colaboración

The brunch here has been one of the best meals on our trip to Spain so far! Our server was wonderful and polite. I loved the pulled pork eggs Benedict and my wife enjoyed the egg and salmon croissant. We had heard to try the potatoes brevo, the server warned it was spicy and being from the southwest in the US we like things super spicy but expected the potatoes to be mild. They had a wonderful kick and were perfectly fried with a great crunch but were tender and steaming hot on the inside, very fun!

The first time I visited, unbeknownst to me, I ordered 5 items, 4.5 of which were deep fried😅🤦🏻‍♀️needless to say, my stomach couldn't handle that but at the same time everything was so perfectly cooked and presented, not to mention how flavorsome everything was, that I kept eating till my stomach literally started hurting... so that's on me🙄

Lartisan is very cozy. The ambiance is perfect for a chill time, breakfast, lunch dinner... I think it's because Roberto adapts the lighting and music style/volume as necessary. Speaking of which, the service is spotless. And so are the bathrooms. I did love the fact that there's menus in Spanish AND English, as well. After visiting a couple of times and trying even more items, I can say that their menu is some of the best fusion I have tasted in Madrid, so that is very refreshing.

They do care about feedback and really make sure that every person coming through the door has a great visit, break, drink( their cocktails are addictive-the cranberry one and the coffee one are my favorite 😍) Prices are very logical given the quality of food that comes out of that wondrous little kitchen. My only discontent is with the portion size, but then again, I am Greek American, so everything in Madrid to me looks like a kid meal, so best ignore the last...

There is no information of opening times on Lartisan website, and if you go there eg. on saturday 4 pm, you cannot get food, because kitchen is not open. I´ve had great food there few times before, but will not try to get there again before website is updated so, that I know when Lartisan is open and when kitchen is open.

Edit: This was last saturday 20th July at 4 pm, kitchen was closed then. I still cannot find any mention of this kitchen closure on your website and Fb and Google both say, that you are open 10.30- 0.00 on Saturdays, no mention of kitchen closure on those days. Why is it so hard to clearly state opening times/kitchen times on the website?

I did however return the next day, on Sunday at 2 pm, and enjoyed a...
