I came with 4 friends one friend has a PEANUT ALLERGY. We ask for something without peanuts, it comes with peanuts once, we send it back.. it comes with peanuts AGAIN. Then we sat for over an hour waiting for our last dishes, our server comes by to ask if we have finished and we said no, we’re waiting on 5 more dishes. He takes down our order a second time of things that are missing.. says it will be only 5 minutes. After about 20-30 minutes, it finally comes, but one friend is still missing a dish. After another 10 minutes the manager comes by and asked if we have finished and we say no we are still waiting for another dish. The order wasn’t even in, he had no idea. So we waited another 15-20 minutes. 3 tables who sat down an hour after us were already done eating and gone. After getting the bill with nothing being discounted (after waiting over 2 hours and peanuts being on a dish) I go up to the manager and I say, “one of my friends waited for over 2 hours for his last dish to come.. I don’t think he should have to pay for his lunch meal..” the manager says, “if he didn’t want to pay we wouldn’t have brought his food” .... excuse you? It’s not about the food.. it’s about the service. After discussing, he takes 30% off his bill... no one else's bill. Terrible service/no kindness from the manager. Will never come here or recommend...

UPDATE: After talking with the manager, Carmen, she was lovely and thanks to her I will give the review a 3 star. Although it doesn’t change the fact I’ve been with stomach pain all day, she has offered for us to return whenever we wish to eat for free and has checked all the products in the kitchen for date or cross-contamination. Thank you!

We ordered a takeaway from Macao-at home via UberEats. We ordered:

Salmón Lovers Box (20 pcs) - €20.90 Maki Box (24 pcs)- €19.90 Dragon Roll - 12,90€ Uber fees and delivery Total: 54,97€

The food arrived on time. No issues with delivery and order times.

When we opened the bag, most of our sushi was full of different sauces - it didn’t look very appetising but we were hungry so we ate it, however, I wish we didn’t.

I and two friends spent the entire night throwing up and taking turns in the bathroom. I hate to say it but I think there’s a potential danger of food poisoning because this reaction isn’t normal. We eat a lot of sushi, never had a problem.

Waiting for a response from the restaurant before placing...

Wow I’m just amazed, first of all I want to start with the entrance. The entrance of this restaurant just seemed like luxury was written across the front. The entrance glowed the whole street making the entry seem like a gala.

I have to say that the service and the waiters are just so warm hearted, they are all so kind and very chatty. From that area expertise it made my expirience at Macao so enjoyable. I am so pleased.

About food: This place is just mouth melting, the combination of world wide dishes is astonishing. I want to also point out that the drinks were on point. The tinto the verano was the most refreshing drink I had in Madrid and that drink made my expirience at Macao unforgettable!

About the place:The place it’s self is just magnificent, the decorations and colour of the walls matched perfectly and worked in perfect harmony. The lighting was quite dark but added to the mood and was quite good.

Overall an amazing expirience, if I come back madrid I will not doubt coming here again I recommend it...

I had dinner with my partner and asked for 2 cocktails, they were not only expensive (almost 10 euros each) but so watery rubbish, the crispy crunchy chicken had too much Modena sauce and sugar, the other 3 plates we ordered were ok. We also asked for a bubble sparkling wine which was far much better than the cocktails and less than the 2 cocktails we ordered at the beginning. We felt totally scammed with the mentioned cocktails and the chicken. Not good. So if you are going to this restaurant, I would suggest not to get scammed by ordering cocktails, waste of money. And the chicken, I wouldn’t recommend it. After several bites the taste is awful. The place is not cheap, hence, you expect a high quality food and beverages,….. a bit far from it. Dissatisfied 100% I wouldn’t recommend it.

Asian food for the Spanish palette; pretty presentation and well-cooked but incredibly bland, maybe 30% of the flavour of the same dishes in more authentic restaurants. No sizes for sharing at least. Service is friendly but not particularly helpful. Also, they recommend far more dishes than necessary, even for hungry people. Location is fine but it's incredibly loud. Seemingly in keeping with the "reduced-flavour" dishes, the playlist was accoustic renditions of popular music. Its definitely going to be an enjoyable place for some people. If you prefer authentic flavours, it won't be for you. Overall, it's underwhelming.
