EDIT: I am editing this comment again since you are accusing me of falsehood. First of all I check that is not the restaurant so I deleted it from the wrong restaurant, as their names are similar. Also just write Tortilla as I mistake with Parilla. Sorry for my bad Spanish but it’s a shame that you don't believe your customers. Never come back again!
I wasn't going to write a review, but here goes.
First of all Isn’t the first time I went to this restaurant and I recommended it to a lot of colleagues. The food is amazing, we order squids and Huevos Rotos. My only complaint is that the waitress with a short black hair (I think her name was Lady, but I am not sure) , was so rude and unprofessional. I arrived solo so firstly needed a table for one as my girlfriend arrived later. Before my girlfriend arrived, I ordered a drink and she start to flirted me. She asked for my phone number and when I said no and ask again for my order, she scoffed and rolled his eyes at me. This is an extremely inappropriate attitude. The food was delicious , but it's amazing how bad service can taint. Please work on your professionalism and ensure that all customers receive good quality service, no matter who they...
Read moreI have been coming here for the past fifteen years every time I visit Madrid and was always satisfied. But it seems that they now only cater for tourists that visit one time and have stopped trying to please returning customers. In my last review in 2024 I wrote that the langoustines a la plancha had gone up in one year from €10 to €13 (30%). Now in 2025 they are priced at €16, more expensive than anywhere else in Madrid where you normally pay €12. The beer is overcharged as well. And while prices have gone through the roof, the quality of the food has deteriorated. The shrimps used to be tasty and fresh, but now there were not prepared correctly. The skin was stuck and could not be peeled off. So, after years if being a loyal returning customer, I am sad to say that this was my last visit. After so many years, I will be voting with my feet. Such a shame and a disappoinment for a place that used to be great for authentic and not...
Read moreA very cozy local place, typical tapas Madrileñas to enjoy with a beer, or a tinto de verano or with wine of course.. the ambiance is fantastic and is also very traditional and somewhat historic place. I love the nice Service they give and how as soon as you come in they give you a small (courtesy tapa) the best here are the Pimientos de Padrón, Squid rings, empanadas, gulas, and the dishes of the day. Of course Una cañita. I will recommend that if you want to take the traditional tapas, here is perfect!! However, if you want more specialized dishes like for instance paella, or cocido, or callos, or Judiones, for those you have to search a specialized places, they are no experts in those here; either way I really enjoyed the Callos Madrileños, and the Judiones.. very tasty and perfect for the cold weather we had today! I hope this is of tour help! Oh yeah the location is great! Just adjacent to the Plaza de Santa Ana!...
