Fun, chill place! More of a “dance in your seat” kind of place 😂 compared to its second branch down by Sol.. Well that one is actually a discoteca but there’s space to dance here too though people seem to be waiting for each other to do so :): :): :): Bartenders are really kind and would explain the drinks if you asked :) Four stars since it’s cold (which is a MUST in Madrid summer!) and music’s fun buuuuut the women’s bathroom was a downright mess 😂 no tissue, no soap, and idk, there was some kind of pipe or flush issue that caused a puddle :( but still useable, I guess HAHAHAHA would definitely come back though 🥰 great place to just chill and catch up with friends! Music’s not too loud that you can’t hear your company ☀️ PS: my go-to drink in both Macera branches is Zombie hehehe it’s one of those drinks that sneak up on you and just slap you like EYY I’M HIT HAHAHA GOOD TIMES 🥰

This cocktail bar boasts its signature homemade gin, adding a unique touch to the experience. The industrial décor, adorned with walls imprinted by customer's lipstick marks, lends a distinctive charm. The bartenders are not only proficient in English and Spanish but also notably friendly. Having frequented this bar since 2017, my recent visit saw us indulging in three different cocktails, each impressively tasty and reasonably priced at around 8 EUR. Opting for an early Sunday evening visit offered a serene and relaxed atmosphere, as it wasn't too crowded. This bar's individual style shines through, making it a must-visit spot if you're in the area. Don't miss out on their homemade gin. I'd also suggest arriving before 10 pm if you prefer a quieter, less crowded experience.

Let me start of by saying this place looks really nice. Great interior design and situated in a very nice street. The reason for 1 star is the following: for a cocktail bar, this place serves uninspired cocktails and they aren't tasty at all. If your idea of a cocktail is a vodka Redbull or similar, then yes, the cocktails are amazing. If you compare this to what is served at other, real cocktail places, in Madrid, then no, they are not on the same level. I also tried the pastrami sandwich. It's not a pastrami sandwich. That would've been OK though, as long as it was tasty. Unfortunately it's not. It was even a little sour. A shame really, this place looked so nice and central, it could've been a great hangout spot
