The restaurant has lively atmosphere, and serves traditional Spanish cuisine, with reasonable prices. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Huertas, it's popular among both locals and tourists for its authentic tapas and bustling ambiance. However, we didn’t find anything special with the food that we ordered.
Service was a bit slow, however they gave us free starter while waiting. They served a small sausage with some small crackers. it was a nice gesture.
We ordered: gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) - it was good and simple small shrimps cooked in garlic and butter serve with small buns. grilled chicken - it was marinated in wine and some spices. it was nice and tasty. it was served with bacon, fries and fresh side salad

When the food arrived, I wasn't very keen. It might be down to personal taste, I don't like runny eggs and when I cut the omlete, I could see runny eggs throughout and I didn't like it. The plate came two slices of chunky tomato and didn't look particularly appetising. My friend ordered the chicken grill and he found it to be salty. Overall, we didn't like the food. The portions were very generous and big but not the best out...
Read moreOut of all the restaurants in Madrid this has to be my favourite. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The prices are reasonable and the service is very good too. Every single item we ordered was made to perfection. The garlic prawns were my favourite and along with the bursting flavours, they had a fantastic sizzling effect also. They served bread which was a nice touch, and it worked brilliantly to absorb the garlic oil. The mussels were delicious as well. This was some of the freshest and most flavoursome seafood I have eaten. The jamon croquettes were also fantastic - one of Spain's specialities. All of this served with vermouth on tap made for an extraordinary dinner. I have...
