Pictura — Restaurant in Madrid

Unfortunately, my experience at Pictura in Madrid was extremely disappointing. I was denied service because I was wearing Hermès sandals—a luxury item that in style and quality far surpasses many of the shoes permitted inside. What makes this worse is that numerous women were allowed entry wearing open sandals of similar style, and several guests wore sneakers with no distinction, class, or brand, yet they were not turned away.

The policy felt arbitrary, discriminatory, and inconsistently enforced. As someone who has dined and experienced high-end venues around the world, I have never encountered such poor judgment at the door. A luxury establishment should understand elegance, not selectively enforce a dress code in a way that feels biased.

For those expecting world-class hospitality in Madrid, I cannot recommend Pictura. There are many other venues in the city that deliver true luxury without this kind of exclusionary practice.

HOTEL RITZ Pl. de la Lealtad, 5, Retiro, 28014 Madrid GIUDIZIO: STUPENDO Come già fatto in altre città europee (Londra e Parigi) non potevamo non recarci a prendere un cocktail anche a Madrid presso il prestigioso Hotel Ritz e più precisamente all'interno del PICTURA BAR. L'Hotel in  stile Belle Epoque all'esterno ed all'interno pregevolmente arredato offre degli ottimi cocktail preparati dal bravissimo Signor Pedro. Il personale è talmente accogliente che anche qui siamo andati con piacere per diverse serate. Una particolare menzione all'attenta, simpatica e più che cortese Signora Paloma che dona un accento speciale all'eleganza dell' ambiente ed ai gentilissimi ed efficienti camerieri Signori Juan, Gherardo e John i quali ognuno nel suo campo si sono espressi al meglio con grande dovizia e particolare signorilità. Ci è gradito menzionare infine anche l'accoglienza e la gentilezza e cordialità del personale all'entrata e della reception. È bello poter affermare che l'atmosfera lieta di tutto l'ambiente anche con gradite note musicali, ci ha permesso di trascorrere delle piacevoli e rilassanti serate . Come abbiamo fatto noi esperienza da ripetere più volte quando si giunge a Madrid. Il nostro giudizio è particolarmente positivo che potremo anche con piacere definire: ESPERIENZA STUPENDA!! This is my first ever review on Google or any other application for that matter. The service we received from Pedro and David Herrero was so world class I felt compelled to exclaim their praises.
