Pizzeria Amadeo Di Napoli Napoli — Restaurant in Madrid

My wife and I were in the area and spontaneously decided to go for pizza and stumbled upon this gem. We called to make sure and we're lucky to have a table saved for us last moment.

The place is a simple, very traditional napolitan pizza joint, family own and served.

Unlike most pizza spots, their pizza is pretty big and is almost enough for 2 people. Taste and quality was amazing! We had the one with the pepper salami and ricota - was just wow! One of the best Pizzas I ever had.

The owner also recomended us the Nutella desert which was a pizza dough with Nutella on top that was also delicious.

The service was really top notch, from the moment we arrived, and throughout dinner - they recommend the dishes, we're super pleasant, and it's the owners that work there and serve you so it's a very cozy feeling.

Only bad thing is Im sorry I just discovered this place after few years in Madrid! 😜.

📝Notes: When I arrived at the restaurant, I actually missed the entrance as I was expecting something a little more modern. But then when I found the place, it wasn’t that appealing, I saw shirts at the entrance, I felt like I mistook it for a laundry shop, especially with the lighting. I don’t want to get into too much details but they definitely need a makeover. On to the food, it was okay, like the taste wasn’t bad but I had a feeling that some of the ingredients were frozen, like the meatballs were very hard so they didn’t taste well, I just took them off and ate the pizza on its own. We stumbled upon Pizzeria Amadeo Di Napoli while walking around Madrid, and it turned out to be such a great find! Although it was full when we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even moving a table inside so we could sit comfortably. The workers were so energetic and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered two pizzas because we were really hungry, but the portions were huge—one pizza could easily serve two people. After the meal, we were too full for dessert, but they kindly offered us complimentary limoncello shots. Such a wonderful experience with amazing food and even better...
