Ramen Kotsu Kotsu is one of the, if not the most authentic Japanese ramen I've had in Europe thus far. Between the team of lovely multilingual Japanese staff to the way that the ramen is so perfectly prepared - I do not hesitate to recommend Ramen Kotsu Kotsu for any ramen lover! An important note to add is that I had dinner at Ramen Kotsu Kotsu with Japanese friends, who gave the meal their stamp of approval for the authentic flavors! My favorite dish was the Tonkutsu Shoyo Ramen Especial, which features six slices of chashu pork and a perfectly cooked Ramen egg. I was astounded by how authentic the ramen broth was, it took me back to my very first taste of ramen in Tokyo. Not too salty, yet incredibly rich in umami flavor, and the ramen noodles were cooked exactly right! The chashu pork slices were charred to perfection, and had a decent blend of fat and meat. Reservations for dinner ARE A MUST. In the hour that my group and I had dinner, we saw so many walk-ins who had to place their name on a waitlist booklet then leave. Nontheless, I wholeheartedly recommend Ramen Kotsu Kotsu to all ramen lovers!

I had the tonkotsu shio ramen with ajitama, and honestly, it was one of the better bowls I’ve had in Europe. The broth was light but still packed with flavor—just the right balance, not too rich or heavy. The pork was a standout: super soft, tender, and cooked just right. I usually skip the charshu, but this time I polished it off without hesitation. The egg was spot on too—perfectly done. My partner had the miso vegetarian ramen, the broth had a lovely miso, nutty flavour, it was so good, she finished every drop. The noodles were done perfectly. Service wasn’t the best though. They forgot the water my partner ordered, even though every other table seemed to get their drinks. But to be fair, the staff were clearly swamped—only two of them running around non-stop. Update: we went back the next day because it was so good. This time, I had the shoyu version and Oh M Gee, so good. Bursting with flavour as well and wishing I could have this every other week. Haha. Service was so much better today. Thank you for an unforgettable meal.

(reseña en español debajo del inglés) Ordered the miso ramen with 3 slices charsu and one egg. Partner had a small bowl of rice with charsu. The ramen broth was excellent. Delicate but well flavoured. The broth was pork and felt like they took the time book the pork bones down to create the proper Japanese broth. The noodles were al dente exactly as they should. The pickled ginger was great when it was salted. The egg was well cooked and not super salty Chinese style. More a slight sweetness. I asked and the egg was pickled in many things including honey. The charsu was soft and melt in the mouth. Delicious. The best ramen I have had in spain. Authentic made by Japanese. My partners rice with charsu was some of the most tasty she's ever had. Same style of charsu but in small pieces mixed with rice. The flavouring was subtle. Also they offer a summer menu of cold ramen which is great idea. I highly recommend this place. So much better than just another burger place. Like it was before. Traditional flavours. Bold flavours. Service was friendly and efficient. They also speak English. Highly recommended. Sabores tradicionales. Sabores atrevidos. El servicio fue amable y eficiente. También hablan inglés. Muy recomendable.
