Classily place with excellent food. A little pricey but a great meal. They bring you a bread basket, cheesy bread balls and a vegetable soup in sipping cups, what they don’t tell you about that is you are charged 3.1€ each person for the privilege. Wasn’t crazy about that. They also offered wine when we sat down and made it seem complimentary but I’m sure it wasn’t. The 300 gr Bife Chorizo was excellent, ordered it Medium and it arrived Medium Rare but it was fine. Pollo Limon was very good. Cesar Salad with Chicken was very good but a little pricey at 17.20€. Was given a complimentary Sorbete each that we didn’t order and two bottles of Licor de Invitacion that we never touched. Entrees didn’t come with any sides but the entrees were enough. They have some very affordable meals advertised outside but those are only good at the bar. Felt a little like they were trying to rack up our bill without telling us but still...

There is a street styled bar and grill part of the restaurant that is more relaxed and vibrant. The back of the restaurant is dressier and a more private and upscale dining experience. We had the more upscale experience in the back.

We just stumbled across this restaurant and - blown away with the steak! Honestly, "The Argentinian Steak for Two" with chimichurri was spectacular. It was one of the best steak experiences I've ever had. I am a firm believer Argentinian Steak does not miss. The burrata was also notably delicious, it's a much larger portion than expected as well, and can easily feed 3 or 4 people.

We thought we were ordering rustic potatoes, but received french fries - don't get the french fries, it deteriorates the experience.

Great dessert, but ultimately the Argentinian Steak was the most remarkable part of this...

Located in a lively area of the city, El Gaucho is an oasis for lovers of grilled meat and exceptional hospitality. After a long day of traveling, this was exactly what we needed. Valentina -our lovely waitress - made us feel incredibly welcome. Her intuition guided us in ordering exactly what we desired. The meat was cooked perfectly to our specifications: this means our instructions were delivered and executed to perfection -which rarely happens in other places. The green salad and baked potato were equally impressive. The cozy yet elegant decor sets the perfect ambiance for indulging in comforting food. Adorning the walls were pictures of famous visitors. If you're in search of delicious food and exceptional service, this is the place for you. I guarantee you'll leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face....

This place felt very much like a typical tourist trap, wouldn't recommend it. While I was waiting for my order, they brought me a big basket of bread, a plate of small crackers and a glass of wine, none of which I wanted. Chicken fillet came with no side dish and I had to order fries separately, it was a big plate and I could hardly eat half. Then at the end while I was waiting for the bill, they brought two more alcohol drinks, again, none of which I wanted. Be certain all of that was included in the bill, but even if it wasn't, what a waste, crazy! The chicken was alright but then again, it's hard to make it wrong.
